They lost to South Africa a couple of games before making the fatal shores to face a Crapper team firing.

Vettori finished with figures of 5/7 in one game. Second lowest for a Black Cap though (Bond's 6 for 19 also had a lower match average thoigh).

Game 4 in The Tron this evening but I have doubts they will finish (or maybe even start this).

grey skies and an increasing wind from the North east which normally brings heavier rain. However, the forecast is for patchy stuff so who knows.

Clouds have gone away but we have a brisk breeze blowing through. Bloody warmish though - my outside shade temp says 28 degrees

This should work (hasn't started yet but won't be far away) http://www.homerun.re/539260/1/new-zeal ... nline.html

While Taylor will remember his 200th ODI I have my doubts that Malik will after that

Good to see the Black Caps bowlers turning the screws when needed.

I'm sure the Black Caps will feel that's a missed opportunity to keep Pakistan under 250.

Game on.

Pakistan finished their innings strongly.

262 is a competitive total, for a change.

Both sides scored 200 in a T20 the other night on this same strip. This is normally a 300+ ground but maybe the slightly used pitch will help the spinners a lot more

At 99/3, another wicket here and we are in a bit of trouble.

99/4. Pakistan are firm favourites from here.

Yep - got their work cut out now - but it only takes one bat to launch a few.

Could be a good finish.

It was almost as if he was reading my post

Nicholls needs yo work the singles better so that he isn't piling too much pressure on his partner.

RRR very manageable now.

It's strange that Ken Rutherford can't hear that he is pronouncing de Grandhomme's name differently from everyone else.

It's like CdG is late for an appointment or something. Immense power and timing from the big man.

Those 4 byes would not have done much to sooth the Captain.

I turned on at just the right time - very entertaining.

Cracking half century from Grandholme - turned the match on its' head.

Should be a cakewalk from here - no more heroics needed and Pakistan don't have much firepower in their seamers.
