Chatting over a beer and curry with mates after having all watched (20 years ago would have been played) a game of rugby together

Sharing jokes with my kids that we ALL find funny

Being completely engrossed in a great movie, preferably alone

Looking at beautiful women

Off motorway summer road trips with decent chill out music

When a plan comes together perfectly (rare)

Trying on a suit for the first time and it fits exactly (very infrequent on my odd shaped body)

Cooking a big meal for the family and seeing them thoroughly enjoy it

In a darkened room listening to jazz or blues sipping whisky

Pinot noir, crackers and cheese (no grapes)

A good dump

Just got in from being at the local theatre, saw an excellent show (IMHO) That Will Be The Day, and now sitting drinking a cold beer while my hands stop tingling after all the clapping I`ve been doing this evening. An evening like this is a real pleasure in life.

No, it covered music from the fifties and sixties on to Queen and Brian Ferry, with a few comical episodes mixed in.

Took my youngest Grand Daughter out for a picnic, at our local country park, today. She loves picnics. Great afternoon in the sunshine.

Watching the White tailed Eagle fly on Lough Derg.

Lying in bed at night listening to heavy rain on the roof.

Do it every day, and it's just the best. It's what I really meant in my post. It's especially good after my 30 minute walk home in the heat at this time of year.

Related to your old comment on page 2 of the thread, I walk home via a park. Walking through it the sounds of birds and squirrels in the trees is just so nice compared to walking along a footpath with traffic beside you.

Watching Ben Smith kick ahead and then Beauden Barrett touching down for the winning RWC try.

Actually, that was complex pleasure. I have rarely felt like that.
