Great thread

That is a great map

On 2nd thoughts - that is a stunning map.

Sweet baby Jesus. I have just spent an hour and a half clicking around on that. I plotted course like there is no tomorrow and docked ships by the thousands. I think this map has just killed Microsoft Flight Simulator for me

I've always been quite surprised how much the Americans are total light weights when it comes to drinking. I had American relatives staying with me a few years back. They were out shopping and called on there way back to see if my briother and I wanted some beers brought back. I answered in the affirmative and they landed back with four cans of Carlsberg... for the four of us. :uhoh:

The colour of Belgium can't possibly be correct.

It's clearly official (as opposed to actual) consumption.

It's average consumption of alcohol.Even though they have strong beers the volumes people drink there wouldn't be massive and they wouldn't drink massive amounts of spirits like other parts of Europe.

I have always said the yanks biggest problem is a fascination with guns and gawd instead of the demon drink - they would be a far better country for it.
