If thats how clare games are gonna go then we have no hope. Should have been out of sight.
Terrible decision by the linesman at the end there.

Fair play to Cork. They are gutless here.

Season is over for us after today. What a load of wank.

Completely outfought.

Tipp played at championship pace. Cork still playing at league pace.

Must win away to Limerick next week

We might not be too far behind. Outclassed by Carlow for much of the game.

I see the biffos were unlucky against Meath.

Unlucky lads

Cork and Waterford out early doors I'd say. That was so limp from Cork in the second half. Really need to freshen the squad up

Good thing we can both now seamlessly transition to the drive for five.

Ended up stuck helping on the farm so didn't get down to Waterford.

Bitty enough end, with the lads like Ian Galvin, Jamie Shanahan etc out for the season we really have fúck all on the bench but we really should have been 5/6 points clear.

Good to get the win, and a few weeks off now. Thought Tony Kelly was excellent.

Clare were very impressive. Waterford don’t seem to have any cutting edge. Aimless wides

Cork psychologist will be in overtime this week. Really surprised they had the heads down from 40-60 minutes. Unwashed animals could have won by more. O Leary the new corner back looked alright but they badly need a freshen up. Wouldn’t shock me to see cork beat us now next sat but unless they find2/3 ball winners they won’t go far.

Tipp were very impressive. They’ll have a say in the semifinals on if they can maintain that form.

Tipp look together again. Usually infighting screws them up year on year but when you see players like Bubbles working their arses off it means Tipp are going to be there in August.

Bubbles in full flow is one of the greatest sights in sport.

Will be interesting to see how they get on against scrappier teams like Clare and Limerick though. That will really tell us where they are this year. Cork made it far too easy for them

It's all set up for Clare to get to the Munster final again.

They have Tipp and Cork at home. Limerick in the Gaelic Grounds is as good as a home game as well.

Limerick need to be careful of a Cork backlash next week.

That tipp forward line could do wreck in the spaces of croke park but I’d agree I’ll be interesting to see them against a very fit battling side. I though Callaghan was goosed at the end of the first half. Can’t understand why cork don’t play big hard lumps like Declan dalton and god forbid Walsh etc for 50 mins. All these stylish lads starting is no good if they can’t get the ball.
Colm Spillane is a huge loss.

Cork just didn't run hard enough. They were outworked by Tipp. Cork can still get to the Munster final. They just need to work harder. Last year their forwards slowed the ball coming out and got it back fairly quick. Yesterday they didn't harry the Tipp defenders at all

Clare’ll beat cork but I think tipp owe Clare one. Limerick Clare is a total 50/50. Plus they know In their hearts they’d have beaten us in the all Ireland

Really hard to know where limerick are at. The internal pressure for places made the league very competitive for them but I’d always have a fear the first loss will put us back a bit

A skinny bubbles is not a good thing.

Lot of miles on the legs on that starting 15 for Tipp is the only thing but they will be there or thereabouts.

Dublin legend Anton O'Toole RIP.

Quote:
Four-time All-Ireland winning Dublin footballer Anton O'Toole has passed away after an illness.

O'Toole (68) made his senior debut for the Dubs in 1972 and won his first Celtic Cross in Kevin Heffernan's maiden campaign, starting at corner-forward in the 1974 victory over Galway.

Nicknamed 'The Blue Panther', the talented forward played in six All-Ireland finals in a row from 1974 to 1979, four of them against Kerry as an enduring rivalry took hold.

He won Sam Maguire in '76 (against the Kingdom) '77 (Armagh) and '83 (Galway), in addition to eight Leinster titles and two National Leagues, and was a three-time All-Star.

His last appearance for Dublin was in the 1984 All-Ireland final defeat to old foes Kerry.

O'Toole later managed his club Templeogue Synge-Street.

Probably isn't favourable to Limerick that their break weekend was at the very beginning. Wasn't it Cork that had a gap after 2 matches last year and they won it? That would be ideal really.

Westmeath 3-18 Offaly 0-14

In hurling

What a result. Looking like Westmeath and Laois battling it out for Joe McDonagh cup

Great result Iarmhi. Still makes me sad to see Offaly fall so far.

I caught the tail end of Antons career. One of the first names I remember. Was a real bogey man for culchies. A rail Dub

Not a disaster for Monaghan by any means but happy for Cavan. Have great time for Cavan supporters tbh.

Monaghan and Tyrone seem to always make the absolute most out of the backdoor route.

Cavan play winners of Armagh and Down. They wont fear either of those sides.

New manager for Cavan looks to have brought them something different. They sat back too much in the second half today but hopefully lesson learned.

Tipp half backs getting too much time on the ball.

Waterford forwards need to work harder stopping the ball coming out

Yisssss. What a difference a week makes. Kearney, Cadogan and Walshe made a huge difference in the forwards. Players who get stuck in

Huge game that. Tipp have been on fire but Ennis will be a cauldron. Tight pitch isn't it?

Tight pitch, packed stadium and two teams with incredible disdain for each other.

It will be a bear bit

It's a travesty that they did away with parades before throw in. When and why was that decision made? :?
