Hats off to cork. They out found and worryingly our thought us.

I’m try to tell myself it’s better to deflate the balloon now rather than later in the year but they’ve got the much needed kick in the hole

It's a travesty that they did away with parades before throw in. When and why was that decision made? :?

Those parades were sh*te imo. Watching a bunch of lads wandering along, out of step and looking vaguely to very embarrassed. Don't think it added much.

Ah the parades are great craic. Nothing says Munster final like the Sean Tracy Pipe Band from Moycarkey-Borris

Don't think they're gone for the Munster final , semi finals or all Ireland final

Probably fair enough then. No need for the ceremony before every round robin match

Loving the Limerick jersey this year though. Proper retro look without the sponsor.

Tipp fans fighting in the stands doing the rounds

Animals, typical Munster.

And their team going well as well.

Why?

It's Tipp. Doesn't need any further explanation.

Was that actually in the stands? Some good shots got in at the end though

There’s 40-50 pissed up knacker 16yr olds from every county under the scoreboard at every game. Normally babysat by two or three young guards just out of temple more. Guards must have gone for a burger

That’s the back of the killinan end

Tight pitch, packed stadium and two teams with incredible disdain for each other.

It will be a bear bit

It's not a tight pitch, roughly the same as Semple and Croker, its just the stadium is small and probably a bit more on top of the pitch.

Cusack Park is a relatively tight pitch - 100%

TBH I thought that too yesterday and googled it,

Quote:
Regardless, only seven county grounds around the country then claim to utilise the maximum playing space of 13,050m²: Casement Park, Antrim; Cusack Park, Ennis; MacCumhail Park, Donegal, Pearse Stadium, Galway, O’Connor Park, Offaly, Semple Stadium, Tipperary and, you’ve guessed it, Dr Hyde Park, Roscommon.

Unless they adjust the playing area since?

I've played in Cusack Park many times - there is no way in hell it is bigger than the Gaelic Grounds or the same size as Thurles.

Next weeks games have a huge impact on who’ll qualify. Loser of limk Waterford is goosed with Waterford probably gone already. The loser of Clare tipp are very vulnerable too. Cork will need a win in Clare.

I think limerick have it in themselves to beat two of Waterford Clare tipp......but that mightn’t be enough if ourselves and cork finish on two wins they qualify.

Post subject:  Re: The Offical GAA Thread

This will be like a Clare v Tipp game from the Loughnane era.

Both teams going well but the Tipp arrogance is well and truly back. They're already in the all Ireland final listening so some in work.

I can't wait for that game. Over their dead body Clare will allow Tipp dance their way around Cusack Park.

Post subject:  Re: The Offical GAA Thread

Tipp have 2 wins so won't be goosed. Waterford look done for but a Clare win would really open things up

Has Leo Cullen made any comments about the upcoming tipp Clare game

Can’t decide what result I’ll want as a limerick man. Like of course I’ll want the unwashed fuuckers evicerated but I’m not sure how confident I’d be of limerick beating Clare if they’ve just beaten tipp.

They’ve stumbled upon a cracking idea for the Munster championship

Tipp are basically the Munster version of Meath.

Meath maybe shit now, but the entire of Leinster hated them with incredible passion during the 90s such was their rough play and the sheer wankery of their supporters.

That's not a great analogy if anything this is the problem with Tipperary hurling since the dawn of time was that we don't do enough rough stuff.

And ass for the other point

Your legendary team from the 60s were the dirtiest team ever in hurling. Most of the hatred of Tipp emanates from that full back line who were the dirtiest full back line in hurling intercounty history,

I was raised to despise Tipp by my aul lad after the Tony Keady fiasco. Saw what you want about us Whesties but we're a great crowd to hold grudges.

That last minute Joe Canning point to send those inbred cnuts home to Tipp in tears back in 2017 was better than winning the AI imo. I was surrounding by Tipp in the lower Cusack and thought there'd be a riot when Bubbles bottled the equaliser.

Would shout for anybody against Tipp.

In our life time this has been the criticism of Tipp, with a few exceptions, John Leahy being one, Leahy was dirty in fact.
Wasn't there a famous ‘We (Tipp) were better hurlers,' ‘But we (KK) were better players' criticism that was leveled at Tipp in the early days that had consistently rang true. We seem to be finding a balance with that this year again with the like on Bonner Maher & McCormack doing lots of the thankless work.

It doesn't happen too often and I doubt we'd do it this season if we get as far as Tipp. When Bubbles loses the belly you know Tipp are getting to at least a final.

Tis but I think we already have a higher quality contender level than 2018 or 2017.
