That’s up there as one if the best ever finals.

There’s a serious team coming out of the kingdom in the future.

Unlucky Kerry. Probably be hammered in the replay. Would have been a good one to stick it to the gaa and the dubs, with all their monies and whatnot.

Also , crazy in this day and age that their isn't extra time on final day. That money will go to the dubs.

You'd have to think the Dubs have more upside in them going into a reply, there was probably half dozen of that starting 15 were well below par like McCauley, Kilkenny, Mannion, Scully and I was amazed Gavin left Cooper there after the yellow, it was so obvious he was in trouble and the red was only a matter of time the way Gough was reffing it. Tom O'Sullivan should really have got one too.

Great game though and its a pleasure to watch football when its played like that, some incredible talent and athleticism on show there today......McCaffrey, Jimmy McCarthy, Seanie O'Shea, Jack Barry in particular for me were brilliant.

Ref was pretty good and of course it was a red. The red for the Kerry chap would have been harsh. One of the dodgiest calls was Kerry lad fouled, ref waves on and Dublin go down and get the chance for Rock to win it. I would have lost it if I was from Kerry

It was an exceptional match, really.

Expect a few years of Kerry dominance with that team. I think they came of age yesterday and they'll be even better next year

In all the analysis about how good Kerry were in the second half, it seems to be forgotten that Dublin played with 14 men then.

Yes but it's the Kerry forwards. I've not seen a team do that to Dublin in a very long time.

And remember Cammy, that Kerry team are considerably younger

Think Dublin definitely got out of jail with that one, Kerry stopped trying to go forward in the last 10 mins or so and that allowed Dublin turn them over and get the equalising score.
Think Dublin will have too much for Kerry the next day but this Kerry team will win an all ireland and soon and probably more than 1.

yup, Kerry probably missed their chance ; stopped playing in last 10 minutes instead of going for jugular which in a way is understandable ; go for the jugular and give up 1 - 2 in the process. Kerry probably played to their max, Dublin didn't, in partcular players like Mannion and Fenton won't under perform like that again ; if the dubs didnt have mccafferty and Cluxton yesterday there'd be no replay. few odd ones from Galvin ; keeping Cooper on was brainless after a tick and yellow and well its Cooper ; Connolly on was hardly a master stroke either

Five in a row today. The Dubs by 10 at least.

Kerry had their chance and Dublin will feel rightly hard done by in the first game. It could be an absolute hiding.

...the ref is from Munster though :uhoh:

:P

Ref has a problem if he doesn't even up the fouls.

There was two clear frees to Dublin but Con O Callaghan should have got a black card for the pull back.

Probably wont see a side like this again in GAA. Best team I've ever seen in both football or hurling

Dublin Dynamo was right about demographics and Dublin domination all along.

Dublin dominated the women's as well 2-3 to Galway's 0-4. Sorry I missed it

Great game and atmosphere. Joy to watch this team play. Think there will be quite a few retirements from the guys on the subs bench, Brogan, Andrews, McMenamin etc. Big questions will be Cluxton and Gavin and whether they go or stay.

Why would Gavin go?

Surely he's thinking 10 in a row?

Have heard nothing to say he will but its a huge commitment involved. I know one of the background team is stepping away (think its Jayo but might be Darcy) so might decide to go out on high but have a feeling that he will stay on this year anyway.

Thankfully no life changing injuries. Broken bones and concussion, similar to a Bundee Aki tackle.

My dad just sent that to me, it's from the local village.
I laughed until I realised that a bunch of them were hospitalised.

Celebrating a Junior B Championship win on a open top ride through the village. Obviously done for a laugh. The end part not so funny.
