Salah is more like Mane, but left footed.

As for Salah, if you have 50million(Roma's price) for a winger/attacker, would you spend it on him?

No, couldn't get a game for Chelsea (though neither could De Bruyne tbf). There's plenty of better options out there and if you did want Salah there's no way he should be valued at that price

Salah was excellent for Roma this year.

Like Cuadrado, Schurrle and De Bruyne he is a player who Mourinho simply didn't understand how to use in that second spell at Chelsea.

Sure look how well Pedro has gone this season now he's actually played when Mourinho didn't use him much at all.

Where does Salah play though earl?

Surely a back up for Lallana, Firmino and Coutinho?

On the right cutting in onto his left foot mainly this season.

Lallana, Firmino, Coutinho is one paced. His Dortmund teams always had pace and outside Mane they don't really have anyone as Sturridge isn't picked often.

That's a little inaccurate. England were coasting at 1-0 up and the atmosphere was dead, then Scotland scored two direct free kicks because Joe Hart is rubbish, then England almost immediately scored the equaliser.

Really?! I flicked onto the channel with about 5mins to go, saw it was 1-0 and figured they had it all wrapped up. Sounds like a fantastic finish.

I would rather lose than draw in these Scottish circumstances tonight.

Joe Hart stops free kicks like me trying to catch a ball in the back garden

A bit unfiar on Joe Hart. Especially with the second free kick.

NIs next game is away to San Marino, the Czechs next game is Germany
We could be 7 points clear in second place with 3 games to go and the Czechs still have to come to Windsor

4 play for Everton and at least 1 for Liverpool. So hopefully not one of them

That's partly down to the clubs not releasing players in the past.

Have Ireland really no better left backs than Stephen Ward? The man has always been rubbish.

5, if you count Connolly on the bench. The future's bright, the future's blue :D
We've just won a world cup on our own - the new West Ham.

There was no need to go so hard at that header on the line and give away the free. It still shouldn't have been disallowed.

Ref bottled an easy decision.
Never a foul, goal should have been allowed.

Come on Wales! I would laugh for eternity if they overhauled Ireland and qualified.

He's actually had a good season but you would never have full confidence in him

Why? Wales would have been expected to qualify but appear to be f**king it up somewhat.

This could be the beginning of a very ugly scandal. I fear there's a huge amount of doping in football but it's in no one's interest to unveil it.

Watch the presiding judge take an entirely different approach to it than the Messi case because he's not running for office in Madrid despite the fact it's over 3 times what Messi got done for.

I was expecting the King of Spain to step in to protect Real.

Wouldn't put it past them.

In the Messi case the prosecutor, following initial hearings, recommended no charges against Messi with his father and accountant charged instead.

The judge, who just happens to be planning to run for office in Madrid and be a Madrid fan, instead decided to charge Messi and his father.
