Klopp was asking at the end of the game "what did I do" when one of the Sevilla staff refused to shake his hand.

I read an interesting article that I can't remember fully but basically England and Holland both ended up damaging their seedings because they played friendlies against teams with a low ranking which basically meant no points going towards their rankings. I think Holland played a friendly v Vietnam which was the difference between Holland being drawn in the same group as Spain or not being, which obviously they came through, but not what you'd hope for beforehand. So the rankings are against the smaller nations getting games against big teams. IIRC some Maths expert from Romania rang the FA to warn them about the ranking/seeding repercussions of not winning one of the friendlies and to play a strong team which the FA obviously ignored and England drew, which was quite detrimental to the coca cola rankings, you could just imagine in the FA boardroom "we invented the sport and some Romanian know it all telling us to play a strong side, well bugger that let's give Andy Carroll a game".

I would suggest Holland did more damage to themselves coming 4th in the Euro 2016 qualifying group, behind Czech Rep, Iceland and Turkey. And to be honest the Czechs (who I support) have a very ordinary team at the moment and did so at the time.

No the one game v Indonesia was the difference I believe. If they hadn't played it their seeding would've been higher.

Sounds like there may be a little trouble between the stewards and the Cologne fans in the stadium..........this isn't shaping up too well. Think it will be ok.

Sounds as though there are Cologne fans all over the Emirates.

Tricky one - if the game goes ahead, and Cologne score there will be a problem. But if they call the game off now, then that creates 20,000 angry Germans. What a mess.

Surely Arsenal fans are too posh to start scrapping with hooligans given those ticket prices?
Let the Germans get their arses handed to them by the riot police if thats what they want.

I wouldn't worry. I once saw a film about football hooligans called Green Street and my big take away was that Arsenal have good football and a shit 'firm'. That and that football hooligans really don't like journalists.

They marched down and shut Oxford St earlier. Tbf they're good natured. It's just 20k of them seem intent on watching the game with a 3k allocation.

They are all over the Emirates right now by the looks of it. Should be fine.

I saw heaps of them on the tube today, and they were great people. But there are some scumbag Arsenal supporters that could come out of the woodwork. That runs counter to most theories, but every London club does have them. Even Arsenal.
A group stage match in a competition most Gooners don't want to be in isn't going to enflame their passions. It's why so many of them has sold their tickets to the opposition who haven't experienced European competition in 25 years.

Good finish, rubbish by ospina. Wenger is doing an impressive job of getting decent players play badly while his selections and tactics are mystifying. I watched Ramsey play for Wales and he was a totally different player.

Man City well and truly put us in our place. Apparently they were brilliant, even if two of the goals may have been offside

Never a 4-0 game
Still United look very good at times
Everton will be ok when they get a decent run of fixtures
