No Question Time tonight though her whole political career has been full of blunders. No wonder she's best mates with the commie Jezza.

A bit unfair tbh.

Not everybody can be intelligent AND beautiful. She obviously had a choice.... had to make a "sacrifice"....

Oh.

Wait.

For the life of me, I don't get how anyone in her party thinks it's a good idea for her to be on camera representing them. But then again, their leader is complete bell end, so ....

Yup. They weigh her vote rather than count it.

And as clear an example of what is wrong with our political system as there possibly can be, i cant think of anyone quite as thick in safe tory seats but there are a number of complete knobbers in their ranks too that appear to be bullet proof.

Put a red rosette on one of the bums on Gillett Square and it would be the same. Hackney ain’t changing in that regard. Even the gentrifying whites are champagne socialists.

Unfortunately it got shelved, mostly due to the pressure of brexit, but a few years ago there was a plan for restructuring some constituency boundaries which would have resulted in corbyn and her suddenly fighting for the same constituency.

Now that would've been amusing.

You are missing something.

The ethnic make up of Hackney is changing rapidly, mostly due to a vast increase in house prices. The new residents are almost universally white. It's still very diverse, but it is happening

That's why I asked. Why would I know I know about tiny areas in London.
It means fcek all to me. It makes a little more sense now. I would have thought it was more about socio economic factors than colour though. Any figures on ho "white" the areas are becoming?
It seems a non issue to me as someone that doesn't experience these issues. However I am sure plenty of people are interested or concerned.

Think also had something to do with May calling an election and losing her majority

Socio economic issues like rising house prices as I mentioned?
And you're the one making it an issue, are you feeling especially grumpy this morning?

If we're bringing race into it... If Diane Abbott was a white male - would she/he even get elected/selected?

I was clearly directly communicating with HH. We live in similar areas and I know what Hackney is like.

Or - Shut the fudge up Donnie.

Thought it was the electoral commission that handled this sort of stuff and it wasn't up to government, maybe its the timing that is their call as i seem to remember there was talk of boundary changes before but the lib dems blocked it when they were in coalition.

Pretty sure it has to be agreed by Parliament. Which wouldn't have been a problem for the Tories had the Maybot not malfunctioned so catastrophically.
