Ben Teo just posted a video on his Insta. It was Sinckler getting weighed for the sky drive/bungie jump thing. He was at 120kg.

Weight on Wiki: 122kg.

Hmmmm.

I doubt theres any need to exaggerate his weight, he's a prop for christ sake. His height on the other hand is bollocks. He's nowhere near the 6ft Wiki have him as. I'd be surprised if he's 5ft 8.

I thought his lack of height might hamper him given the modern propensity for taller props - i thought he might always end up as an impact player - but it doesn't seem to.

Apols if already posted ... Eddie addresses size vs skill in a Q&A. I couldn't help but think that poor Matt Kvesic would rage against his screen after seeing this. ;) Any idea of the player he's speaking of, whose been asked to add 7kgs straight away?

Saracens are thrilled to announce that this season’s Derby Day fixture against Harlequins will be played at London Stadium on Saturday 24th March.
The game, which has become a highlight of the Saracens calendar, will see this season’s London derby played in front of 57,000 fans at the Aviva Premiership fixture to be hosted at London Stadium.

Saracens will make the move to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, which hosted a number of matches during the 2015 Rugby World Cup, after a successful multi year partnership with Wembley Stadium which has seen the innovative north London club take 14 Premiership and European fixtures to the National Stadium and achieve world record crowds throughout its tenure.

Saracens CEO Heath Harvey said: “As a visionary and innovative club we are delighted to be teaming up with a stadium and team that matches our ambition to create a landmark showpiece event.”

London Stadium Chief Executive Linda Lennon CBE added: "We are delighted to announce our partnership with Saracens and look forward to welcoming their supporters for a fixture of such prestige.

"We take immense pride in delivering a diverse calendar of events and look forward to building a strong bond with Saracens and their supporters."

Harvey continued, “London Stadium has become synonymous with delivering great entertainment and sporting spectacles and this opportunity is one that both parties are very excited about.

“We have enjoyed a number of successful years with Wembley Stadium however despite continued attempts over the past year to build on the long term relationship Wembley have not matched our ambition.”

It's not a bad ground but a bit strange. Because it's not huge and the angle of the stands, it feels very open and if you're at the back you can feel a long way from the action.

There's a running track around it. It's not ideal for rugby (or football).

I'm not planning on going, it's just that Wembley is a dead ground for these games, we have shitty history there, and the plastic pitch at Allianz is always a bit of an odd one.

By the way, Sinckler is 5'8 you reckon? That's obscenely short for an international prop, is it not?

Not obscenely short - it used to be pretty common. Just that the last 5-10 years have seen an increase in props being picked on pure size and what they can do around the pitch.

Thomas Domingo, an excellent international prop, was a couple of inches shorter.

Probably. But I'm of the opinion that scrummaging technique is awful these days and it's mostly about brute force.

Slimani is around the same height as Sinckler.

Domingo... a lot of French props have been short- can be an advantage.

Rare to be under 6ft in the pack these days, sadly. LH Just on tour;

Sinckler; 5'9ish, Marler: 6'1, McGrath: 6'1, Crockett: 6'3, Moody' 6'2.

Hookers are all massive now.

I really don't believe most of these stats.
The hookers are not all that tall- fat, but not tall. George can't be over 6'
