well you don't really remind me of anyone cos you seem boring

with sards it was just bantz and you are picking up old dog ends so best just leave it instead of faux upset of description of musefreak

Are you on medication Yeeb?

no

are you?

Yep. Arthritis mean a few tablets go down before I have breakfast.

I have limited the parrots eat them all to just 2 a day.

Unfortunately I also have to take some stuff to deal with vertigo. You should try it.

It has apparently improved my drumming skills.

ah - had you pegged for being on the methyphedidate type stuff as well

J had to get a new TV because my old one conked out. All I wanted was a simple one, but all I could find were smart TVs. I was amazed how prices had come down. A 55" inch Sharp cost only $460.

2 Litre Turbo.

It is batshit insane = can drive it in "Sunday Driver" Mode, albeit with a heavy clutch.

Or

Mash the accelerator and watch out cops!

Now, now. That kind of thing is frowned upon here.

Finally got a new telly £434 on Warehouse like new, box had never been opened. Got this as it has android, bugger all apps though, you need to side load which is a pia, it was very easy to set up using google account. When I go to certain apps it wants to setup youview which turns off USB record which I want so I need to delete those apps and replace with one's that don't trigger youview and that also seems to be a pia. So I'm not using the smart side at all as I have an android box and firestick.

Needs a settings button on the remote to get to main settings.

43" and it seems ginormous. Works with alexa but I haven't set it up.

If anyone's got a similar telly, and tips and tricks?

Also got this QNAP 2tb home nas as WD messed up my mycloud with their firmware. After pointing out consumer law which they ignore, even in writing on their website, they're going to replace it but this QNAP was available for £135 so I thought I'd upgrade. After setting up wouldn't let me log in even on the admin/admin log in page, weirdly full reset sorted that.

Anyone got a QNAP. I think I'm all setup now. Using free file sync though instead of their app, as it's pants like the WD one was. I've mapped the drive for PC and I can access it via web remotely, I can access it on my phone and tablet with their apps, it's got plex but I don't think it's really capable of transcoding so I'm going to use it with Kodi on the telly. Any other ideas?

Nice rock pipe. Wire wool or ash? I imagine you’ll have no shortage of the latter.

It’s what Aunt Hortense would have wanted, I’m sure.

I got sent one of these Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryers to review.

It dries my long hair quickly without damage, a nice piece of technology but way overpriced.

Tend to agree but the Management is calling in a few favours.

I haven’t slept, and have just spent 5 hrs raking tiny little leaves, apparently made from araldite (sp?) and Velcro, through wet, long grass. In the dark. Getting my excuses in early, though even with those caveats, this is lamer than an amputee with a stone in the shoe he hasn’t got:

Just what makes that little old aunt
Think he’ll help when she starts to pant
Anyone knows an aunt, can’t
Power of attorney recant

But he's got high hopes, he's got high hopes
Hes got high apple pie, in the sky hopes

So any time you’re gettin poor
‘Stead of frettin more
Remember that bloke from Northants
Oops there goes one more of globus’ aunts

When troubles call, and your backs to the wall
There a lot to be learned, that wall could fall

Once there was a bloke in Northants
Thought he'd make a mint from his aunts
No one could guess the man’s plans
Offing all those poor grans

Cause he had high hopes, he had high hopes
He had high apple pie, in the sky hopes

So any time your feelin bad
Stead of feelin sad
Just remember the bloke from Northants
Oops there goes one more of globus’ aunts

I really should listen to my creaking body and sleeeep

Is that when you look in the mirror and see the uniform you're wearing?

Where are you going to step the masts 'Tah?

Looks a great project. I wish you well. If I was anywhere near Saigon, I'd want a trip out in her.

Now, the big question. What's her name to be? My own yacht was called Mimosa.

Where are you going to base from? If it's in Vietnam, you could call it Spirit of Bledisloe since it won't be going back to Australia for years.

Did you not know this when you purchased the product? It's great if you want Google Now in your room/rooms. But if you wanted it as a speaker then just get a UE bluetooth device.

I've been vocal of my criticism of Samsung in the past, but the Note 8 completely changed my opinion as it fixes all my previous gripes about the brands mobile phones.

I've used Samsung for the past 6 years and never had any issues with them.

I've had no issues regarding failures or the like. My gripes were with the user interface lagging, needless apps you couldn't get rid of and a number of minor things that wouldn't frustrate anyone but an enthusiast.

I've only had the Note for a few days and it's probably in the top two or three phones I've used.
