I spend my days balls deep in code, I like iOS because it impedes me from hacking it to fück.
That's fine as long as Code doesn't mind.

Mrs W went to Skoda with oe of my sons to look for a sensible small car for him to learn to drive in. She came back with one of these. I am very impressed, but at my age I feel a bit of an idiot driving it.

What is speed shooting?

I gave up on semi's, found them too fussy on crap reloads, as well as being harder to be safe with while shooting with companions, etc. Maybe okay off the back of a ute for pest control. Went back to over and under, they always go bang no matter what shit they're fed, much easier to be safe and demonstrate it is safe.

I gave up on the inertia action Benelli. I guess I wasn't very fair to it. Is that one gas operated? I don't recall such an aggressive cap on the fore end.

Yours is an inertia action too? Mine was one of the originals, didn't handle crap reloads. Went to a Miroku over and under. Always went bang no matter what failures at reloading were put in it.

Good man Waratah. And it's in white as the legendary creature was usually depicted.

I'm not a great fan of cats but at least you have sails!

I hope you have many happy hours trundling the waters. It's been an important part of my life and I'm now going to be teaching the grand kiddiwinks to sail a dinghy, when they are a little older.

Virtual G&T to you. Great project.

Bought this Zyxel wifi mesh system a couple of weeks ago...

https://www.zyxel.com/uk/en/products_se ... m-Multy-X/

Image

..its the dogs bollocks so far!

We have a pretty old, listed house and although I would have liked to have had it all cabled up with Cat6 I didnt fancy the bill, the mess or the possible damage to the property. So I had been stalking the tri-band mesh systems (avoid the older ones that are not tri-band, like BT and Google Wifi etc) on Amazon for a while; I looked at the Netgear Orbi RK53, the Linksys Velop and the TP-Link Deco systems in some detail but I'm very happy with the Zyxel. It's giving complete coverage (like 100% signal strength) over the three stories of the house with consistent and reliable bandwidth to all end points. We're even getting some pretty handy coverage outside as well. Recommended.

Great choice, these wifi net systems using back-haul are the business.....I put an Orbi system in earlier this year, great speed, no more drops when moving around the house and good coverage to my patio area outside. Couldn't be happier.

Yeah I liked the Netgear Orbi system too, it was for a long while my first choice. But I was swung in the end by the Zyxel as each AP is slightly smaller than the Netgear, but that was the only difference really.

Black out bedrooms. I'll say that life chaging sentence again. Black, out, bedrooms.

How come this seems to be sold as relatively new development? The tents I used to sleep in at scouts wouldnt let a knife through them let alone light

I bought another car, ended up with Corsa SE in dark sea blue. Front and rear parking sensors which is is must around here. Heated seat and steering wheel which is less of a must. 5.5k miles. So far so good but wouldn't call it nippy. Hill start assist and cruise control are handy.

Those two are just for the engine, my LC runs off a 24v system and needs a fair bit of grunt to start. I have a separate 'leisure' battery for the fridge and charge points that is rigged up to a split charge system.
