He is also either wrong or lying considering a) I'm not full of shit. I'm actually one of the least anonymous and most transparent posters on here having posted multiple photos, videos and even my Facebook profile on several occasions. and also b) Anyone talking shit about me behind my back to some asshole I dont even know is definitely not a "close family friend".

If he did meet some acquaintance of mine I'd be curious to know how this allegedly non-imaginary person thinks I'm full of shit. I've got nothing to hide.

You're right. Just gives me the shits to have someone making those kind of claims on a public forum because I didnt see eye to eye on some boxing nonsense. Pretty sure that would annoy most posters tbf. The guy has issues.

I'm glad that is the case but it's not so obvious considering you've been following me around this thread with a raging f-cking hard on forever.

In any case, I was mistaken then, I got wooshed and take it back. You're not that unhinged and I'm glad to say it.

Can we play nice now?

I really dont mate. But if you're pretty loose with you anonymity here as I am and you thought someone was saying your close friends have told them you're full of shit and they post it online then I think you would probably arch up a bit too. It was a mistake by me but see it from that perspective.

In my case apparently I just didnt get his "joke" and I'll own that and be glad of it.

I dunno. He just hit a nerve. Apparently I'm being too sensitive. Fair enough. Can we say water under the bridge and just look forwards to the fight now?

Pretty much what I am expecting. Something like Klitschko-Brewster 2.

I'm getting mixed times there's one saying 4am AEST (which is why I'm up) and there's one saying 9:30am. The fight Im watching doesnt even show on the card.

Which fight are you watching? On my stream we are in between fights. MAHAMMADRASUL MAJIDOV VS TOM LITTLE is just about to begin. Excuse the caps, copied and pasted.

My heads says Joshua on this one but the closer it's getting, the more I have weird instinctual hunch that Ruiz is going to do it again. Obviously that's worth nothing. Nor is my head on it for that matter. Just saying.

Commentators floating the possibility Ruiz had heavy shit in his trunks to push his weight up in the weigh in.... maybe he's not so heavy after all although I still have to back AJ to grind it out if they make it past the 7th without him getting wobbled.

Majidov looked good. Easy win there.

Edit: then one after was impressive too. I dunno what "float" fights are but I guess we have more left than I initially thought.

Can anyone explain Ruiz massive weight gain? Last news story I read, admittedly a few months ago, he had lost heaps of weight. He looked much trimmer though not exactly athletic. I remember thinking at the time that he must be taking this fight very seriously and dedicating himself to his craft but at the same time wondering if the drastic weight loss might hurt him. Then I come on here and read that he's weighed in at 20 stone or about 15lbs heavier than the first fight. WTF? So he loses weight between fights then packs it on for the fight? Seems bizarre.

Literally one post up I mentioned that the commentators were talking, as far as I could tell in complete seriousness, that he may have hidden weights in his trunks during the weigh in.

To be clear I'm not claiming that as any type of fact so dont shoot the messenger. Just repeating what I heard.

That seems a weird claim. Why would they do that? Mind games to make the AJ camp think he's out of shape. Bizarre. :?

Don't they usually flood in in time for the main event? No different to other big fight venues like Vegas. The undercard is often a snooze fest so the fans don't arrive until shortly before the big fight.

But most international props have a similar physique also also superheavy weightlifters.
So is it a big an issue?

It wasn't a massive weight gain. Just didn't lose that much weight in camp

That's what I guessed, if it is even true. It was just some off hand speculation by the commentators.

Ok so this story from 4 November was all BS then.

Ruiz is looking to lose around 5kg from what he fronted with in New York, rethinking his successful strategy.

"I kind of wanted to be a little heavier because Anthony Joshua's big, I wanted to carry his weight, take the punches well but I think being 10lbs lighter, I'm going to be a better fighter," Ruiz said.

"I'm going to be more faster, let my hands go and be faster on my feet as well."

Wilder takes the cake with his last walk out costume. It's like WWE.

That Prince Naseem character was also very "creative" back in the day  so its not that new.

Whatever does it for them I guess.

I dunno, Hunter in a Predator mask and leaving it on right through the ring introductions tops Wilder IMO.

Fair enough. I dunno what's going through their heads when they do that. Personally I'd be too distracted about what an idiot I'd look like if I went out like that and got plastered in the first round. I guess that's why I'm not a champion boxer. I guess they dont consider losing let alone getting embarrassed.

Anyone brave enough to call this?

I'm edging towards Hunter but it's nothing more than gut instinct.

Edit: posted that before Hunter had a good 11th round. He has to have that one in the bag at least.
