Already renewed. The ratings have been very good for a half hour adult cable comedy.CarrotGawks wrote:I watched all ten episodes of What We Do In the Shadows, the vampire mockumentary TV show based on the vampire mockumentary film. It's very funny, in a really pleasant enjoy the journey and be shocked by a few roaring laughing out loud moments.
I doubt it'll ever get huge appeal in the US, where it's made, but it has enough of Spinal Tap/Best In Show/A Might Wind stuff going on that there'll be a dedicated hardcore following that it appeals to purely because of how different it is.
Is the series just a continuation of the film (which I was a bit 50:50 on - some genuinely lol moments, but a bit too silly/contrived in a lot of places), or does it just build on the concept?Speed Racer wrote:Already renewed. The movie itself has a pretty large cult following in the U.S.
I watched that last night, the conclusion of the fight had me pissing myself with laughter. The one after with the hat is very funny as well.Gazzamonster wrote:Just watched the episode where they meet the werewolves.
Pretty funny stuff.
it was actually going to get better with some of the casting...apparently budget issues...u'd think they made a killing with TITANS and doom patrol adn could have funded this?Boobs not Moobs wrote:Swamp thing which had really good reviews has already been cancelled.
It's glacial alright. I was steadily getting thru it then my cable box f**ked itself when I was halfway thru and I lost all the remaining episodes.assfly wrote:Just finished True Detective S3.
Great ending, very moving. A bit slow in the middle of the series, but Mahershala Ali's acting was phenomenal throughout.
looks like it's on Sky UK on June 18Kid A wrote:Season 4 of Gomorrah is available with English Language subtitles if you have the Internet. I'm about 4 episodes into S3 myself

Classic series. If you liked it you would probably also like Vice Principals.El Homerino wrote:What's people's opinion on Eastbound and Down? I pissed my pants, but i'm thinking it might not be to everyone's taste?

I only watched the trailer for it yesterday, was planning on checking it out as that looked half decent. probably won't bother now.Boobs not Moobs wrote:Swamp thing which had really good reviews has already been cancelled.

Personally it was always like that. Up and down. Some good episodes but a lot of really shitty ones. There were a few classics though, such as the pedophile one.comets wrote:apparently season 5 of BLACK MIRROR tanked hard lol, only 3 episodes and its shit.hehe
Saw a review that mentioned her "weapons-grade eye rolling", which was a nice way of describing some of what she brings to the table. Definitely a slightly different dynamic to the film within a female character, especially when played that well.Cartman wrote:She's brilliantsockwithaticket wrote:Making my way through both Good Omens and WWDITS at the moment.
