Super bowl is about as much NFL as I can stomach each year.Dai another day wrote:Thought I would give the first half a go. Not for me this.

The half time show is almost as big as the game for some. It’s a massive big deal. But yeah, the whole production is as yank as it gets. The Aussies try to emulate to a degree with all their State of Origin coverage.crouchy wrote:Imagine being at a match at half time and your team is losing and some twunt is dancing around singing pop songs?
Only americans would put up with this sort of shite.
Does it what. 2+ hours so far, of which only 30 minutes has been actual game time.crouchy wrote:Super bowl is about as much NFL as I can stomach each year.Dai another day wrote:Thought I would give the first half a go. Not for me this.

Drags on a bit though.
Isn’t the ball in actual play for on average 11mins?SecretAgentMan wrote:Does it what. 2+ hours so far, of which only 30 minutes has been actual game time.crouchy wrote:Super bowl is about as much NFL as I can stomach each year.Dai another day wrote:Thought I would give the first half a go. You can be in the right spot positionally but the play to fall over further up the chain.Kiwias wrote:"He's in the right spot but the ball is just not there"
He is not in the right spot then, mong
It was a pass from the qb so either the pass was not good or the receiver was not in the right spotmr bungle wrote:You can be in the right spot positionally but the play to fall over further up the chain.Kiwias wrote:"He's in the right spot but the ball is just not there"

He's a big unitRuggaBugga wrote:Commentators note gronkowkski has caught one pass for 9 yards.
Nek minnit....
So a bad pass then. Glad we sorted that.Kiwias wrote:It was a pass from the qb so either the pass was not good or the receiver was not in the right spotmr bungle wrote:You can be in the right spot positionally but the play to fall over further up the chain.Kiwias wrote:"He's in the right spot but the ball is just not there"

He would murder in rugby. Not to mention he wouldn’t have nearly as many injuries because it would be illegal to launch yourself at his knees.Kiwias wrote:He's a big unitRuggaBugga wrote:Commentators note gronkowkski has caught one pass for 9 yards.

Or the pass went where intended and the receiver was in the wrong spot.mr bungle wrote:So a bad pass then. What position would you play him?fonzeee wrote:He would murder in rugby. Not to mention he wouldn’t have nearly as many injuries because it would be illegal to launch yourself at his knees.Kiwias wrote:He's a big unitRuggaBugga wrote:Commentators note gronkowkski has caught one pass for 9 yards.

8 or lock probably.Kiwias wrote:What position would you play him?fonzeee wrote:He would murder in rugby. 6 or a kind-of 5.5. Assume he's a half decent jumper?fonzeee wrote:

One of those times where access to many angles of slow-mo replays really just complicates things more than anything.RuggaBugga wrote:Such a f**king weird rule. He caught it, hauled it in landed in bounds and held it even when he hit the ground. Whow gives a shit if it bobbles around a bit.
Given anyway.
Yeah. He had "control" the moment he caught it imo. The tackler arrives on his back and causes him to starts falling so he has to move his arms not to faceplant.fonzeee wrote:One of those times where access to many angles of slow-mo replays really just complicates things more than anything.RuggaBugga wrote:Such a f**king weird rule. Anyway, if you catch it and hold it after it's on the ground then who cares. Just a weird rule coming from a rugby background.
That's abysmal.mr bungle wrote:Isn’t the ball in actual play for on average 11mins?SecretAgentMan wrote:Does it what. 2+ hours so far, of which only 30 minutes has been actual game time.crouchy wrote:Super bowl is about as much NFL as I can stomach each year.Dai another day wrote:Thought I would give the first half a go. The Patriots seem relentless, coming back each time the Eagles scorepaddyor wrote:Eagles D wilting.
Last two drives have been practically uncontested. If the Eagles stop scoring they might be in real trouble.paddyor wrote:Eagles D wilting.
Now the pats seem to be standing off.Still think the Eagles need a big d play.fonzeee wrote:Last two drives have been practically uncontested. If the Eagles stop scoring they might be in real trouble.paddyor wrote:Eagles D wilting.
Really? It’s the style of game it is. Go and time from a league play of the ball to the effected tackle. Or from the cricket bowler release to the end of the play. It is what it is.SecretAgentMan wrote:That's abysmal.mr bungle wrote:Isn’t the ball in actual play for on average 11mins?SecretAgentMan wrote:Does it what. 2+ hours so far, of which only 30 minutes has been actual game time.crouchy wrote:Super bowl is about as much NFL as I can stomach each year.Dai another day wrote:Thought I would give the first half a go.
