Meh, his rating was 103 against the Falcons. He's a rookie, so hot and cold is what you'd expect. I see his completion % was pretty consistent across the two games (but its all on less than 20 attempts so small sample size).

Jets have Bridgewater to start the season with and let Darnold develop in his own time.

It's the Bills who need to be most worried about their drafted QB at this point I'd say.

The Jets aren’t trading Teddy as suggested above. That would be stupid. When you look at some of their recent QBs, Smith, Hackenburg ( ), Darnold... Bridgewater is the best. Anyone who said trade him doesn’t understand football and probably just repeats what they hear on TV or the radio.

Teddy's deal is only a year, bar an injury elsewhere his trade value is just not high. Much more value in starting him while Darnold gets his reps.

It's not clear to me what starting Darnold would achieve, the surrounding cast is dismal.

Quality game in LA between the Rams and Raiders.
3-and-out on all 5 possessions so far.

I know both teams don't want to show their hand - they meet in Week one, but ffs! x(

I slept in...

From all accounts it sounded bad - even for pre-season.

Think I'll give the replay a miss and just take in a few articles.

EDIT: No injuries by the looks of it, so that's the main thing.

Btw back to the Urban Meyer thing, probably looking at a couple of games suspension according to a pretty good source. Fair enough.

Suck a bag of dicks Tom Herman.

It was a weird one to schedule given the week one match up. For the Rams, the brilliantly named rookie lineman Joe Noteboom apparently looked the goods (caveat on the fact it was 2nd stringers and not Mack he was facing).

Good news for us is that Dominique Easley was activated this week off the PUP list, having blown his ACL (for the 4th time!) right after joining last year. He'd be a nice little addition to our rush depth if he can get back to form.

He won't be facing Mack in week one.

Oh, is this the league that Breeser Pleasers have utterly dominated for the past 3 years, with a 34-8 record and 3 finals in a row (including a 15-0 run as they stormed to the title)?

Sure, I'm in

The Gurley Men's name on that trophy is a ghastly aberration that must be amended

5 - nil.

What sport were they playing?

It was a terrible game. Nick Foles looks like Nick Foles again. They should have traded while his value was high.

Teddy needs to be backing up Carr...

Cook and EJ are just awful. There is no chance the Raiders sniff a win if Carr goes down.

Penn really struggled at RT - but not too worried just yet. It was always likely to be a tough ask early on.

D-Line was good once again.

The game was farking terrible overall. I'm done with preseason!

The draft is set for....

Your draft is on Saturday, Sep 1, 2018 at 5:00pm BST.

I can easily change it to a later time or to the Sunday if it suits people, let me know.

Would rather has as many people drafting as possible

Have you guys always played it as an 8 man league? I'm more used to 10-12 as standard?

Though I realise with Keepers it becomes more complicated to introduce additional teams without them being at a disadvantage.

Baseball?

Only remember one other 5-0 score because I watched the game. Purdue once lost to Michigan 5-0 in the Big House in a downpour that lasted all game.

I'm remembering a Big 10 college team that once scored 4 in similar conditions, but forget the team.

Falcons have looked terrible in the pre-season. Better shape up if they want to have any hope in taking part in a home SB this year.

No picks. The Bills line is bad, even the commentators agreed there wasn’t much he could do with that pressure. Still managed to finish with a higher QBR than Darnold’s 48. The best result for him is to sit this season anyway since the Bills are so bad.

Lamar Jackson lit it up though. I had him and Allen as my top two QBs pre-draft.

Do you follow college football outside of UCF? Firstly the police didn’t charge Zach Smith because they doubted his wife’s version of events. Secondly and more importantly, the current head coach of Texas worked very closely with ZS since he was on the OSU staff at the time. We need to know what he knew first. Urban wouldn’t have had nearly as much one on one interaction with him.

The Bills are really something... every one of their linemen is like a vet minimum calibre. And there's no receivers! How can you be so bad so long with this little to show for it. Shady might have 400 touches.

Allen wouldn't see the field for 10 games if it were me.

Anything decent I've seen from the rookies has been against 2nd and 3rd string... I don't think there's much to read yet only to say Jackson isn't even close.

Always an eight man league because that’s all that want to play.

At the moment I still have only 6 confirmed for this season....
