I wasn’t high on him but he is improving. Has surprised me to be honest. If the Jags can go deep into the playoffs with Bortles, the Bears can with Mitch.

What a season, literally nothing is going right for the team. Any time Bortles gets a pass on target, the receiver just stone cold drops it.

Apparently the defense was fighting in the changing room after the game :(

Maybe someone finally punched Ramsey.

The Bears look to be overly reliant on Mack...

With him hurting, that defence is a bit shit.

Cruel timing

Speaking of kickers, Greg the Leg is back. 8)

Don't sleep on the Chargers now. Quietly up to 4-2 and with "perhaps the greatest QB to never win a super bowl not called Dan Marino" having himself another good year. Philip Rivers is an underappreciated gem. 2004 was a vintage draft for QBs, Top 5 taken: E.Manning, Rivers, Roethlisberger, Losman ( skillz Bills) Schaub.

Interesting trade rumour that Derek Carr could end up being traded to the Giants, although probably not until the off season. Certainly seems everyone in Oakland is available and the Giants need to replace Eli with someone and probably not a rookie.

Something bizarre happened to that ball. It looked like a huge gust of wind took it as I just don't see him slicing a ball that badly and he clearly couldn;t believe it either. It was straight off his foot for half the distance then bang - it went at a right angle to miss the posts.

I would trade him and his contract for a ham sandwich and have a complete reboot. He is paid far more money than he's worth.

Nah. He's like Matt Ryan. Solid but nothing special. Not special enough to be a great.

Bears were so poor yesterday, not sure how it stayed close.

It was a rubbish day of games, saved by the ravens one which was great.

Darnold still learning on the job. The Jest sit 3-4 and I am convinced the McCown would have us at least 5-2 if not undefeated.

They are both top 10 QBs that most franchises spend years dreaming of drafting. Just look at the shit the Bills are rolling out now.

We are spoiled right now for elite QB play. Brees and Brady could be gone soon and Rodgers might not last long either. Rivers is also pushing on.Once those 3 HOF guys disappear we will see a decline across the league.

Mahomes looks pretty elite. Wentz, Goff, Watson etc. Then you have guys like Tua and Trevor Lawrence in college.

Damn - the Raiders got a 1st rounder for Coop!

Thank you, Cowboys! :o

I still love you, Coop - but a 1st is a 1st! Best of luck in Dallas, kid.

Bloody hell! :o :o

That's a good deal considering we were never going to pay Cooper the $16M - $18M he would have been looking.
Or his agent would have been looking.

Same agent as Mack - and Karl Joseph.
I guess Kujo is not long for Raider Nation.

Mahomes has a Favre style having fun, gunslinger feel to his play. He also has the right coach for that. This will make the playoff collapse all the more painful.

I watched the KC game last night and the kid looks good. His family named bugged me until I saw his dad in the stand and put 2 + 2 together. I had watched his dad pitch for the Twins in the 90's. I didn't know they were related until last night.

Yeah I saw that about his dad when he did the Gruden QB camp before he got drafted. The way you say his family named bugged you, had me confused until you explained. It is like when someone down south says "I coulda told ya, if you hadn't asked me!"

You knew it but the harder you thought about it, the less you could put it together.

Career passer rating of 95.6, puts him 8th all time, just behind Peyton & Steve Young.
Over 300 career TDs puts him 6th all time behind P.Manning, Favre, Brady, Brees, Marino
Never missed a game since becoming starter as far as I can tell, which is pretty incredible durability.

But yeah, he's nothing special

I think we're in a nice changing of the guard era with several 1st ballot HOF QBs still around (Brady, Brees, Rodgers - & for my money Rivers is probably HOF too but perhaps not 1st ballot) and some young guys who clearly look good enough to be considered future elite (Wentz, Goff, Mahomes, Watson), then you have some very decent mature QBs (Newton, Wilson, Cousins, Ryan, Smith) and even a rookie class that has shown signs of life (Darnold, Mayfield, Rosen). I like what I have seen of Rosen, but he's in a horrible situation in Arizona. A bit like Goff in year 1, the right coaching change there is vital for his development.

Shurmur is going to get unwarranted shit for going for 2 there. It's totally the correct decision and it's a shame that coaches making millions of dollars haven't figured it out sooner.

Oakland Browns clearout may not be finished yet, several team sniffing round 2017 1st Round Pick (CB) Gaeron Conley - who can't even get on the field at the moment.

Total number of picks from 2015 - 2017 still left on the roster... two (and counting)

A little too much employment of the robber technique by the Jags secondary there.

He's playing today - the poor guy.

Colts were only 3.5 point favourites for this one...

EDIT: And my guy, Seth Roberts, gets his first home TD in 2 years! WE BACK!
