There's an image at Barstool of a guy that had a 20-team parlay where he bet 89 cents and if all 20 hit, he'd get half a million dollars. He was 19 of 19, mostly random college football games. Bet #20 was the Redskins' money line Monday night.

From the outside, it always appeared to me McAdoo was fired because he benched Eli. Now we're into week 3 of the next season, Eli is benched, and it makes Eli look even more like the problem and McAdoo just a scapegoat.

Watched 3 minutes of Sportscenter this morning:

-38 different starting QBs thru Week 3 (39 if Cam Newton is out). Most ever.
-4 Super Bowl winning QBs that started Week 1 but won't in Week 3 (Roethlisberger, Brees, Eli, Foles). Most ever.

If this season is a Patriots runaway...I have better things to do in my life.
I was listening to a show yesterday where they talked bout Manning. If you look at his career stats, he was an average QB at best. Did he just get by on his name?
some clutch plays in the post season helped by good defenses, two rings.

I think untill paytons SB with the broncos little bro had a better playoff record than big bro.

They are 2-17 at FedEx Field on MNF now.

Second and goal with the Packers down 7 and Rodgers throws his first pick of the year. Game over. Eagles put 34 on a defense that was allowing the second fewest points in the league.

Read today that the Bronco's defense is the only one in the past 50 years to go the first 3 games of a season without a sack or a takeaway... and they are supposed to be the elite (and the teams strong point).

Some people were reckoning that the Broncos could break the single season sack record.

They're on track - just the wrong record

A nice way to start the week for once! :o

Colts were seriously banged up, but I still thought they'd win. Happy to be proven wrong!

Solid game, boys. :smug:

Get through these next few weeks, get Gabe Jackson back and then just pound the ball.

Yeah they were saying he spent the offseason training at altitude in Wyoming.

I was just looking at the standings, there are currently three teams in the entire AFC with winning records. Gonna be some 7-9 team in the playoffs.

Our O line played like a row of Ronan O'Garas. Bucs have a great pass rush at the best of times but our guys just waved them on through at Goff. Goff with protection is good (hence 517 yards and 2TDs). Goff under pressure is not good (threw two picks with Buc rushers in his face, fumbled for Suh's icer). And if you stop the Rams running game you kill the play action which Goff thrives on. Lions were actually the first to do it last year and Patriots perfected it. Every team so far this season has tried to copy Bellichek's Superbowl scheming with moderate success. The Bucs shut the running game down completely: just 22 yards I think.

We had the best line in the league last couple of years but lost Saffold and Sullivan over the summer. Whitworth is not getting any younger, Blythe has been out and his replacement has been poor. We need to fix that or it's going to be a messy season.

Our D has been great through the opening games but they appear to have taken an early bye week. No pressure on Winston, poor secondary coverage. Sure, not helped by starting field position on those offensive turnovers but they were weak as piss.

Wouldn't be surprised if they just underestimated Tampa and had their focus on the division games coming up against Seattle and San Francisco. Hope this acts as a wake-up call to McVay and co.

Didn't realise Goff was that bad under pressure - but looking at the numbers from last year makes for interesting reading.

Appreciate the summation.

Dogfight in New Orleans. Saints up 12-10 with 7 minutes to go.

I expected more from Dallas.

Saints find a way to win again. Ugly as all hell - but 2-0 without Brees against two good sides. Impressive.

That's as many as the NFC West. And the NFC North.
Take out the Pats and Cheefs and the AFC is looking piss-weak.

NFC is looking delightfully open, lots of good teams but they can beat each other.

It’s crazy the gap between Mahomes and number 2... there is nobody even close.

Had a good game, but is a very good player.

Be advised that the Browns have Kareem Hunt due to come back after 8 games.
Dates back to a Domestic Abuse charge when he was at the Chiefs.

Until then, Chubb is the undisputed number 1.

Was it domestic abuse? I thought it was a dumb assault in hotel against a woman.

Chubb is good, him and hunt would be some pair of running backs to have.

Anyone know what happened to Jay Ajayi? Was with the Eagles the year they won the SB and got injured last season.

Ajayi is without a team. Blew his ACL up last year and is not exactly young for a running back.

RBs are like that. Relatively interchangeable, so a few injuries (or one bad injury) and it's into the dustbin.

Arian Foster was a favorite of mine. Out of the league a year and a half after appearing in his final Pro Bowl.

He is fit now apparently. Would expect a couple of teams to kick the tyres on him.

Rams were paying 11/1 after Goff was picked off. I was tempted!

Yeah that was a tough loss. We were a lot better than last week. That first Seahawks TD was just unreal from Wilson and Lockett and a miss from Zuerlain is thankfully a rare thing, so we got hit by two freak events and lost by a point. The upcoming monday night game against the 49ers is now a must win.

Wilson is amazing. He had no Oline to speak of last year. This year they seem to have improved that and so Seahawks are back as a force in the NFC West.

Clay Matthews broke his jaw yesterday. Out 6 weeks. :(
Silver lining for Rams was the play of our TEs. We already had the best WR corps in the league but if we integrate Gerald Everett too, that's too many weapons to cover.
