Patriots folding here.

They're not used to playing an NFL side.

EDIT: I knew I'd jinx them...

Hmmm...Pats' supposedly all-time great defense looks pretty average against a team that doesn't suck donkey balls. Who would have guessed?

The only decent team they've played so far (Buffalo) aren't exactly offensively strong either.

Stinger for the ravens. They had them on the ropes, put together a drive there and run the clock down the way they have been and they’d be a cert.

Great watch.

Raider games are "must watch".

We have an offence that can keep us in just about any game.
Trouble is we have a defence that can keep the opposition in any game as well :lol: :lol: :blush:
I'm not comfortable we can even win until we have at least 30 on the board! :lol:

It's maddening.

Still, overall the guys have done a great job. Very happy with the season to date.

And the Bears continue to suck... :smug:

If the Bears continue to lose and the Raiders somehow managed to package their pick up to get Chase Young, the Mack trade would start looking like master-stroke.

Rams fall to the Steelers. 9 points from our D, 3 from our O. Story of our season.
Goff is a shadow of last year's player without a solid O-line and the separation created by Gurley and the play action. Worryingly with the amount of money sunk into Gurley and Goff, we look pretty hamstrung for the next few years unless McVay can reinvent the offense somehow.

Yeah, Goff is a shadow of himself last year and before without Gurley in tow. Beginning to think their whole play book is built around having Gurley as an option.

If the Vikings win here tonight the eagles could still be in with a shot of topping the conference. We’ve a few weak teams up in the end of the season. Our season will come down to the Pats cowboys games. Too weak in the secondary and no receivers but we can make it to the playoffs.

The league appears to have figured out McVay and for a boy-genius he's taking quite a while to readjust. Can't blame it all on Gurley's crocked knee - we have two decent RBs in Henderson and Brown.

Was travelling yesterday and listened to about half the Colts-Dolphins game on the radio. 13 of Miami's 16 points came off Colts turnovers. The Colts had Brian Hoyer at QB in place of Brissett who was sitting out for injury. Hoyer threw 3 picks.

Vinateiri missed an extra point, his 6th this year. He has to retire at season's end.

MIAMI! 2-GAME WIN STREAK! 2-7! FLY FISH FLY!

He’s definitely going to be an All-Pro this year. Best Steeler DB since Polamalu.

Tied for the league lead in INTs. 5-2 since the trade with the two losses by a combined 7 points. All with the backup or third string QB starting.
Minkah Fitzpatrick in 7 games with the Steelers:
* 34 tackles
* 5 INT
* 2 FF
* 1 FR
* 2 defensive TD scored
* Pittsburgh is 5-2 in those games

Carolina lost so they are still in good shape to win the division. Right now they are pretty much fighting with the Packers for the #2 spot in the NFC and a first round bye in the playoffs.

Yeah we will know how important it is after next week. If for some reason the Saints lose and the Panthers win it will be more important. The Saints still have some breathing room with a two game lead in the division.

It's not the easiest run in for them but panthers are in the same boat. Think it'll only be one qualifier from that conference with the WCs caoming from West & North.

Jaysus.
If you haven't heard, almost final play of the game, Myles Garrett throws Mason Rudolph to the ground after he'd thrown the ball, they wrestle on the ground and when they get up Garrett rips Rudolph's helmet off, gets dragged away by a O-lineman, Rudolph goes after Garrett who promptly smacks his head with Rudolph's OWN helmet.
Steeler O-linemen throw Garrett to the ground, Pouncey (Steeler Centre) goes apeshit and punches & kicks at Garrett's head/helmet when he's on the ground.
Ogunjobi (Cleveland DT) pushes Rudolph to the ground before joining the fray.

Garrett, Pouncey & Ogunjobi all get ejected.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTTzJ52IBHQ

How 'Cleveland' to take their biggest win for years and 'Cleveland' it up with a stupid brawl.

Record suspension for a single* on-field incident is 5 weeks.
This will be more. Could, should, be rest of the season.

Garrett, probably gooonne for the season (6 games +)
Ogunjobi probably just a fine.
Pouncey likely to get a (shorter) ban as well.

Oh, by the way, the re-match in Pittsburgh is in two weeks :lol: :lol: :lol:

* Yes, I know Vontaze Burfict got 12 weeks but that included "previous". Lots and lots of "previous".

Yeah, Pouncey doing what he did looks worse than it is but only because Garrett was wearing a helmet but don't think that should matter.

I'd go 4 week ban for Pouncey and 8 for Garrett.

Was there not another player ejected earlier?

I have Shobert in two IDP dynasty leagues. Nice wee 40 point performance!

Pouncey was protecting his QB based on that description. He'll still get a suspension mind you but most offensive linemen in the league would go at a guy that did what Garrett was doing.

Pouncey just protecting his QB. He'll cop a ban but be respected in the locker room for his actions. Garrett on the other hand? Just madness.. Browns must be over the moon with losing their 2017 no 1 draft pick for the season.

I agree re Pouncey. If I was Tomlin, Colbert or even Mr Rooney I wouldn't be too hard on Pouncey. I want my guys protecting my QB.

But the NFL can't have the video of punches being thrown and a kick to the helmet without suspending him.

Nope. That's just silly. QB trying to get 280 pounds off him as he is held down well after the ball is gone. Won't get a mention.

But Pouncy 4 wks, and Garrett 6-8 wks I'd agree with.
