The supreme fooking irony
? They don't consider him very highly and neither do Aussie from what I can gather, because, like Poite, he hasn't the balls to make a really hard call, and gets so many calls wrong during a game. There are many NZ'er amazed that their fellow NZ'er Jackson remains on the Test panel.

I see Kaino got another yellow card against the Sunwolves for a similar 'tackle' he got binned for in the Third test. Rasta should have given him a red after watching it a few times. Kiwis are slow learners.

Still think the hit that ended SOBs involvement in the 3rd test was a citing offence by kaino

He torpedoed into SOB completely off the ball as seanie was in the process of joining the ruck .... I.e. Kaino tackled a man off the ball

Amazing how she ever sold anything.

2:15 Willie Lose said it was not intentional despite Kaino leading with the shoulder  This was the type of tackle that Butch James got a bad reputation for 16 years ago and actually got called out on them by the officials.

+7 over today so far
he managed to finish in the top 5, with a 66 so might be worth a punt this week for a place

3 great days and one absolute shocker when it was windy and wet. He is is usually the battler that thrives in shitty conditions so he'll look back on this as one that got away. Still great playing from a 45 year old with no business still knocking around playing competitive golf.

His putting just disappeared on Saturday, he seemed to be rubbing his hands a lot so don't know was it the cold but he's definitely worth a punt this week.

Saw a photo of Henshaw, he's in some sort of sling that looks like it's intended to hold his shoulder back.

The Leinster Kings Hos camps start today. I think there are 3 weeks with about 250 per week. Great experience for the kids. I remember going there years ago to the summer camps, first chance we got to talk to girls!

The 7s Team has qualified for the World Cup, some turn around for them it would appear. Still not sure it isn't a waste of time and resources though.

Used to live there, it's definitely worth visiting. Valley of the Temples, Mt. Etna, Taormina and Siracusa should be top of the list. The food, coffee, booze and ice cream are all fantastic, as you would expect. The town I used to live in, Ragusa, has a beautiful old part (Ragusa Ibla), with little Baroque streets, churches, Michelin-starred restaurants and very relaxed bars, which is generally true of most cities on the island. People are really friendly, and will go out of their way to help you. Younger people generally have a reasonable grasp of English.

Downsides - Make sure you rent a car, as public transport is pretty much non-existent, but take care - drivers are fĂșcking lunatics and some of the mountain roads were a bit . Palermo and Catania are a bit 'edgy' compared to the smaller cities. Avoid Gela like the plague, despite the appealing seaside location - because of its Mafia-built, environmentally disastrous oil refinery, the entire town smells like shit.

More partial to Sardinia as I'm a lazy lardarse on holiday these days but was good. Only covered about half the coast and suspect a lot of cool stuff also in the other half but depending on where you're going:

Palermo. Didn't quite get it. Met some nice people and bars but town as a whole felt loud, dusty and cramped. Zingaro is worth a trip if you're in the area for a few days. Corleone might be too - we didn't bother, went to the fake one instead.

Cefalu. Nowt amazing but an easy spot to relax for a day or two, nice restaurants and walking in the forests inland.

Was dreading Taormina but it's a decent base for Etna and we just ignored the main bit and spent time down at the beach at Naxos/Bella. Stayed in a place called Isoco which was great outdoors, breakfast table at the foot of a walnut tree growing through the ceiling, hot tub, couches and 4 poster beds facing Calabria over the water. Good in the evenings.

Also liked the trek up to Castelmola, film set for Godfather and pints at the Turrisi pub are memorably bizarre.

Didn't spend much more than a day in Catania as we were flying back but again, might be a good base for Syracuse and Noto. Enjoy.

bout time someone called it for what it is.

He's wrong on one point though when he says "The build-up matters just as much to McGregor as the fight."

In the case of this particular 'contest', it's ALL about the build-up because he knows full well it's a pisstake event designed to milk money from willing morons.

I'll be doing well to get two days out of it! I'd say there will be a big Cork crowd though. The old man was at the opening in '76 so a fair bit of nostalgia.
