Not sure what Premier Sports are? So do we now have to subscribe to Sky, Bt and Premier league sports?

Thats great news.

Sky won't have any domestic rugby next season. In Ireland just BT and Eirsport but it's free if you're an Eir broadband customer. Not like this hasn't been said several times alread.

What about the quarter of the people who don't live in the republic.

Next season if you live in NI you need the following:
- Sky for AIs and Summer tour
- BT Sport for Europe
- Premier Sports for Pro14

But hey, the IRFU has never given a shit about NI based fans, hence the pay tv for internationals deal.

The Premier Sports decision is laughable.

I can't wait to see an interpro rearranged because premier sports have Swedish speedway at prime time.

I'm truly baffled by people supporting this decision, the coverage will be terrible and barely any games will be televised.

Was it that Welsh TV monies were too low?

Even more monies all round now?

I'm not going to be arsed paying for it. And Earl is completely right, being on a crappy channel rubs off on the competition.

Only a few years ago we had 4 live games on a weekend with BBC, RTE and TG4. It was luxury.

The league is a farce. Selling off the rights to some two bit nobodies.

As opposed to giving it away for the SROFA for little gain.

Now they can spend the extra few quid they get on little social media videos for a league that nobody watches.

I'd imagine Ulster will spend there's on a biscuit or crappy NIQ. But you can spend it on social media if you want. How much would you pay crouchy?

So no change then? I mean aside from sky who brought production values, the regional channels were terrible. Eir have at least committed to this for the Irish games.

From reading around it looks like Hendy and Ringrose will start.

Furlong behind Hendy in fitness stakes but could still start.

Decision to be made on Hendy's partner.

Actually this evenings viewing on premier sports goes:

6PM - NHL Highlights
7PM - This is Premier Sports (no programming)
10PM - This is Premier Sports (no programming)
11PM - No information
11.30PM - Nascar Highlights
12.30AM - Live NHL

Great decision Pro14, great decision.

Clearly next season it'll be a repeat of a game from last weekend as opposed to no programming.

Tbf, Sky pad their schedule out with stuff that's even less interesting than nothing.

I'd forgotten I'd assumed Sexton was going to miss the game.

Earls would be nearly as big a loss.

Fiddle-dee-bollocks if either is the case.

Had heard Sexton was near certain not to play alright, but not a sausage re Earls.

Keane getting a shot, good man. Hopefully Hume gets a good spell off the bench.

Is Hall injured or has Agnew leapfrogged him. Delighted to see O'Toole as he can be very useful if the scrum holds up. Big shoes to fill in Aungier. First glimpse of Dunleavy too. Without wishing to be too dramatic, ulster will be desperate for this class to produce a good few pros going forward.

7 Ulster starters, 2 more on the bench?

I await to be told they're all only in for injuries though.

Hall did come off injured one of the games. Really looking forward to this one now.

Aye they would be, or just rotation because it's Scotland.

Where are you lot seeing these rumours about the team?

All the injured players have taken a full part in training already this week.

Earls had media duty yesterday, and with my optimist hat on I think it’s unlikely they’d have put him out there if he was hiding an injury.

If that true then it’ll be along day keeping the ball in the tight. Scotland can be very dangerous, very quick tempo and slick with the ball. Will be a huge challenge for the management team with various injuries.

Re Earls - I had heard SFA about him being in doubt. I just had a quick check with 'my man' who had been bending my ear re Sexton and it turns out he was basing it entirely on how many column inches Joey Carbery was getting over the past fortnight, rather than anything specific re Sexton, other than "he have a sore back so he do" which we could all see as he fired the ball at the posts much like Jackman used to fire it at lineouts...

...so; hopefully somewhere between utter bollocks and total bollocks.
