Roger Wilson was allowed to continue on after being done for drink driving wasn't he?
Isn't there also some sort of link between Bryn and that player management agency that does the recruitment for Ulster, as well as managing most of the players?
The whole place stinks.

Hmm. I think Roger got a suspension, though I'd need to double check that. Yep Bryn used to work for Corner Flag Management which came to be known as Esportif, I think Jan still works for them?

Obviously, that an the fact that evidence suggests that in oldings/jack sons case they are innocent of the charges brought against them, no matter what mob rule in the republic would have you beleive.

the IRFU aren't stupid, they know they have to be careful, if anything those guys being force out by the Dublin media and protests will not sit very well with many supporters within the province, if real Ulster rugby men make these decisions then it will be easier to accept, but if southerners are seen be the cause of it, there will be a huge fall out.

You guys may laugh at te aboveboard statement , but welcome to NI and our politics.

Brett Herron was also done for Drink Driving. Should have cancelled his contract after that. Would have saved a fortune rather than be paid for playing for Ballymena this season.

It's a nonsense though; Leinster weren't allowed keep Hines, Munster were blocked from signing Stephen Moore or signing an NIQ replacement for Botha. It's swings and roundabouts.

Solr is correct above (obviously) - but the IRFU have solrs too, and they've had some time to deliberate. I suspect the exit strategy has been much-discussed.

surprised to see this from a solicitor though....

Unlike in an office environment, neither Jackson nor Olding are required to interact with women as part of their duties of employment.

Not sure this is either factually correct, or material. UR/IRFU have female employees.

There appear to be a damned sight more, and a damned sight more mixed (ie between A&B schools, nr schools, clubs and exiles) u/a teams than up to recently. Obviously anyone with any sort of talent at all is being looked at seriously and several times.

We should remember that Leinster and Munster have a cachet which is virtually unequalled in the club game in the northern hemisphere and is a real selling point when talking to these Irish qualified players from the UK. Although to be fair, such as the overwhelming strength of the Leinster academy system any Irish qualifier UK players will invariably end up in one of the other three provinces.

I am not sure the players mentioned fall into that category. There has been substantial increase only in the last 3 to 4 years in terms of finance and coaching along with the administration required to find and target Irishqualified UK-based players. Personally, I am hopeful that when London Irish return back into London, They will return to their roots and become a specifically Irish focused side. Even if they are ring fenced out of the premiership, they will provide a tremendous focus for Irish based players in the Southeast.
