Great bit of business. Tiny bit surprised about Tom Daly but I suppose he's struggled with injuries and the cupboard is bare. Surely Ringrose warrants a central contract?
Surprised by Daly too, but nice of them to give him one more chance..

Yeah you'd think so on Ringrose but IRFU able to hold him off.

Ulster fans don't have any bit of moral high round when it comes to supporters - a good number of your own fans are boycotting your own team at the moment FFS

No, its called individual personal choice, we all have lives to lead. A weekend in Dublin is expensive and people have lots of other things to occupy their time / hard earned cash. I´d suggest the Ulster posters have rather more things to be embarrassed about. Did Jacko get a job yet?

Probably as 4th choice hooker to replace Pat O Toole. Must be nothing in the academy.

Can't see him getting ahead of Sonny Bill, McCartney or Heffernan. Heffernan had a very poor season, needs to kick on

Yep, 6 is quite probably his best position. Won't play there for Munster.
He wants to play secondrow though.
The players themselves aren't always right though. Fitzgerald thought he was a fullback. Ben Foden wanted to be a scrum-half.
Fitz would have been a very good FB if that had been his position from the start. No room for him there in the first choice side though so his appearances in the position were sporadic meaning he never became that good there.
Maybe but he wasn't great under the high ball and he was instinctive player who seemed to make his mistakes when he had too much time or options. Great player but think wing/centre were his best positions.

How big is Hawkshaw will he be a 12 or 13? I thought Dave Kearney would go, when everyone is fit he is well down the pecking order. How did Doris do in B&I final?

I wouldn't rule Hawkshaw out at 10 completely even now.. could play either, he isn't big. 5'11 maybe.

Doris was one of the few bright parts, playing 6 off the bench.

Dave K likely took a paycut and good to have some more experienced heads around.

Hardly surprising though as a club like Leicester can do better than him.

Much harder to get tickets than the Aviva. They would have been released to ST holders first who probably mostly live in Munster.

He's better than Clive Ross. Ryan would we be a good signing for Ulster because he's a lineout option which would help with the 2 useless LO options you play in the absense of Hendo. Do a job to see you thru Willies "2 years".

Dom Ryan is as good if not better a player as Reidy and far better than we have seen from either Rea or Timoney.

The two younger lads have time to improve but in terms of here and now, Ryan would start over either of them.

It was his opinion that more Munster folk would travel up for the final to cheer on whoever Leinster were playing against (if they win) than will travel up for the semi final involving their own team.

Are you playing at 8.30 tonight might have a spare Irish international (full contact before army gets his knickers in a twist) available as we have no game and a few coming down for a run around.

Our game is on at 8.30!!! Our best player just pulled a sicky! I mentioned to C'er last week that we'd like to play you but I think he was organising a crack guerilla team to take you on? Is your new player a certain fast winger?
