I reckon it's less to do with the Kiwis wanting to watch us and more about getting people out for an "event".

There was actually an alternative ending were the lads are taken from the court while being pelted with cabbages, beans and sanitary towels to be locked away for 15 years. Then it cuts to the prison and the camera pulls out of the cell as two prisoners high five each other while Paddy softly cries.

Yes, it’s shocking that having mounted a successful defense of his client he’d take the free advertising.

In fairness, the request went in too late for them to process it through their convoluted system.

Sticking this in here in case Jim Lahey misses the shout-out thread:

You were on the hunt for a new smartwatch recently; well, this might fit the bill if you;ve not already sorted yourself out. Special Offer hit my inbox this AM:

https://www.sportpursuit.com/catalog/pr ... BvcyI6MX0=

That's a decent price for a very decent bit of kit. Garmin Fenix 3 for €315...

Anyhoo. That's my good deed done for the Quarter.

Well tbf, just because they were found not guilty of rape doesnt mean that people cant be disgusted by their behaviour, rape or otherwise. I mean a hollywood director just lost his career for some dodgy tweets a decade ago. They sent a girl home crying and bleeding and bragged about their exploits.

Did they send her home knowing she was bleeding or crying?

A lot of witnesses said otherwise.
