Interesting.

And makes a lot more sense, was confused as to what you were getting at. Could be a good fit if he's not trying to bring any extra staff.

From a Leinster POV, it would be preferable for them alright to move O'Sullivan ahead of McCarthy, but I reckon Nucifora has set a rule whereby players moving between provinces can't be punished for such moves, as it potentially stifles the development of a future international (not talking specifically of McCarthy here, i have no idea if he'll be anywhere near international quality)
That sounds like a load of bollocks to me.

Mccarthy will be a decent Pro 14 player, average European player and not good enough to be an international. He will be step up on Drunken/Hart but won't reach ABIs current levels. Fine pass, average kicking game and break (very slight).

Anyone know if Ewan McKenna did a write up about this weeks most important match?
The RWC repechege between Kenya and Germany that’s on now, I’d love his take on it.

He did a podcast this week "rugby perspective" Ewan McKenna V Ruaidhri O'Connor but I haven't listened to it, you can find it on Rugby on off theball.

Pointless listening to someone so disingenuous.
Imagine having such low self respect you chose a career move like his.

I'd be surprised to see any sort of decent crowd in the RDS tonight. Seems like an eternity since the last match there.
10k would be optimistic I reckon. :(

Ulster doing simple line handling drills on camera as it pans away for an ad break in the build up, basic stuff, easy for pros. Warwick drops it.

Where are you watching that? Not on rugbai beo. They’ve improved their coverage a bit. I wonder what they’re paying Lowe - presumably a lot.

About 500 people in the Parc y Scarlets.

Maybe a bit put off because they play the same opposition next week.

And the week after.

Fúcking farcical fixtures.

Probably has little to do with that. The RDS will still have a good crowd tonight because they’ve a good marketing team who have made it into a family event for the middle classes of Dublin.

Supporting lines and a passable pass are the only things going for him.

It's not a passable pass. 2 lineouts off the top and the defence have reached Burns at the same time as the pass.

Our defence is very narrow, not ideal against the Scarlets.

Only thing he's got. God help us if this is what the Ulster system decided was the best we could get in terms of scrumhalves. x(

Still say there's better junior players.

He's lively, but still making positive contributions. He's not just running about doing nothing.

Worrying scrum against the head earlier, though.
