As above, don't know how you can combine rugby and study medicine. Or basically anything and studying medicine.

Yeah he's doing it half time, at least for his clinical years. So stretching it out to double as far as I know so has a couple more years to go.

Ideal really, play pro rugby then qualify as a doc and kick on from there.

If London Irish hadn't signed him I reckon he'd be retiring.
Reckon he'll be hanging up the boots this side of Christmas

Lucky he did sign with LI, he’ll get a nice hefty insurance payout.

Surely they weren't crazy enough to give him a contract of that magnitude without certain stipulations such as it being based on appearances etc.

I like your thinking, Munster nailed on by ER.

Relieved with that. Closer than it needed to be because we didn't take points from that penalty under the sticks, but got it done in the end.
Nice tribute to Munster 2008's keep-ball.

Well done lads. Deserved... the ref was always going to penalise the pick and go fest.

Ryan and Fardy are just warriors.

Larmour excellent even in rain and Ringer/Henahaw solid as fudge

Great thing about Larmour was that his defense was the best aspect of his game

Trying to sandbag on Leinster ball for 10 minutes was a bit silly. Needed to engineer another penalty shot at least. Maybe they had nothing left to give.

So what’s the injury list going into off season then, other than Leavy is anyone out longer term?

Right enough, shouldn’t really affect him then.

Henderson and Best probably weren’t 100% but everyone has niggles this time of year.

Only caught bits of the match but VDF looked like he had another stormer.
Anyone else stand out?
Sexton pulled his head out of his arse yet?

Ehh... Sorta.

Threw a shit pass to no-one which cost Leinster field position. Then a crap Cronin throw in gave Glasgow possession and they scored. Had a few iffy moments and missed a fairly straightforward early kick. Did ok overall, I suppose.

His taking an age to complete place kicks pissed of the Weegie supporters a huge amount, so that's good.

He was fairly average in the first 30 mins of the first half a lot of mistakes but thought he had a very solid second half, best I've seen him for a while. Hope he gets a good rest over the summer and comes back the player we all know he is.

Same goes for Murray.

Ryan and Ruddock. Probably didn't have standout moments but their workrate was off the charts.

It'll be interesting to see what happens if Kearney is cited for taking out Hogg. He could miss some of the warmup games.

I haven’t read the thread but I thought Leinster were brilliant. Played exactly like I thought they should and crushed the Scots. Immense performance

Why should he be cited? I expect you to quote relevant laws to back up your supposition.

He took out Hogg in the air when he had no chance of contesting for the ball; Hogg had the ball when Kearney left the ground. Hogg was flipped beyond the horizontal and landed on his upper back/shoulder. It was a clear-cut red.

Every game he says someone is going to get cited and a long ban. Every game he is WRONG.

Were you one of those Leinster fans that thought that there was nothing wrong with McFadden's off-the-ball headbutt to the face against Ulster?

In fairness, most Leinster fans here went to bat for McFadden about that, and all were made look like fools. We've seen plenty of times this season that player safety isn't a priority for most fans on here.

Eh, because maybe the cutting commissioner might think that Kearney should have been shown red?

It's ok to sometimes admit that we got a favourable call.

He landed on his back. Clear yellow, not a red.

Really enjoyed the game yesterday. Bit disappointing it started to piss in the second half, but Leinster just turned the screw and were always going to win that game. The scrum battle was fascinating as well. Plenty for the coaches to look at before the World Cup. Glasgow tighthead impressed me with the amount of naughty stuff he managed to get away with.
