And so it begins.

Sorry to hear that URH- my father passed away just as I graduated college and even 12 years later the void that remains still has a resonance but it gets far easier with time. There are many ways to deal with this, you'll find something that provides some comfort and which works for you. Reach out to people as often as possible, knowing that you are not alone is usually a good starting point.

Deepest condolences.

Alright enough from what I've seen but not stellar. I think we'll be waiting a long time before Ulster produce a real quality scrumhalf, though people like Doak I'm still reserved on him.

Gareth Milasinovich, sustained an ACL tear in training. Gareth has been scheduled for surgery to have this repaired and he will be sidelined for approximately nine months.

That's tough. Which of the Leinster lads is getting a phone call this morning?

FFS we are like 3 year olds with a new toy when it comes to our saffers we break them as soon as we get them out of the box

How long have Ulster had their current Strength & Con. team?
So many catastrophic injuries up there.

You could have the best in the world and make no odds to a ACL. Be one thing if they were severe soft tissue ones but knee ones like that could happen in a warm up game of tip rugby.

An injury like that has little to do with the S&C regime. If half the squad were suffering soft tissue injuries, that'd be different.

Fair enough, I'm probably being harsh but Ulster deserve it and a shit fight has got to start somehow in the off season.

Yeah, I lost a lad in a non tackle evasion game. He brushed off one of the other lads and kind of stumbled. He tried to play on. It was a few days before we realised it was his acl.

Just on that point. If you coach lads who are in school, make sure that they have the 24 hour schools insurance as this covers loads of stuff that happens when playing sport.

I drove home after my 2nd ACL - just felt funny and 5 days later I am having a full knee decompression.

Think it is all new S&C in Ulster as Johnny Davis and Kevin McGeary have both been replaced over the past couple season. COuldn't even tell you who is there. But as others say, wouldn't blame them for this.
