Waratahs fans, who's likely to be rested and who will be starting?

No-one in the SWs organisation seems to know anything about his injury. I tell you, the faster SANZAAR can rid themselves of this utter clusterfuck of a team, the better.

My sources tell me backline of

9. Gordon
10. Foley
11. Clark
12. Beale
13. Hunt
14. Newsome
15. Folou

...with Mack Mason taking over at 10 as soon as the game is in hand.

Rene Ranger's Super Rugby season has come to an end after he suffered a ruptured ACL in Round 1 game between Sunwolves and Sharks, reported today.

I would say from the first penalty the Tahs receive, after BFs catastrophic miss last week.

Aussies, has Channel 10(ie free-to-air) dropped the Super Rugby replays from their programming this year? Last year they were replaying a selected match (usually featuring the Tahs!) Sunday morning around 7 or 8, but no sign of it in this weeks TV Guide. If Rugby Australia have pulled the plug on it that's an awful step backwards in RWC year. (Actually it seemed to be sometimes on 10 HD, sometimes on SBS One.)

You are a bozo. Win or lose, the Sunwolves are a highly entertaining team, and great for the development of the game in what is a key marketing zone. No wonder you liked the Monkees.

Is it a good development team? None of the actual Japanese players are playing for it currently and it's full of ineligible players.

What are they doing for the game here apart from robbing the top Japanese players from opportunities to play SR and raise their level? Even the fans here are getting royally pissed off by a "Japanese" SR team that had 14 non-Japanese in the starting XV last week and 12 this week.

I hear you. Didn't realise you are over there and would have your finger on the pulse. However I would think 6 or so Japanese in the squad is not too bad, and given that the Japanese members always seem among their best players, and the visible excitement and enthusiasm of the fans, it looks a great advert for the game in Japan to me. You won't like this, in view of your previous comments, but I reckon the best thing the Sunwolves could do is poach Michael Leitch from whatever NZ team he plays for (Chiefs?), to add some starch to the pack and team in general.

Michael Leitch already plays for the Sunwolves.

He’s done so for the last two seasons.

I'm surprised a historically Hurricanes fan such as yourself would have noticed that Naki.

Michael Leitch is the captain of the national team but chose to play for teh Chiefs for the last few seasons, before pitching in with the SWs from last year.

The number of Japanese players in the SWs is declining.

F^ck is makes for a weird competition having teams playing in Tokyo. The comp loses all identity.

Pretty blatant no clear release in the tackle by Hanigan there.
