Agreed, pretty showed the reality of what things would look like. A bit exaggerated at times... but still accurate in ways how people will try to continue trying to live a normal life as long as possible.

Also, finding the cure pretty much is the reality of how they are found.. In a lab.... No climatic scenes there.

Stop stalking me, Flagg. I'm digging this groovy sound, and wish there was a club in town that still did swing nights (as there was when I was in uni), as I'd love to drag my lady friend out and do this ...

Lets talk about Tinker Wanker Gypsy Guy- I liked the pace and whole feel of the film. One of my top few of the last 12 months though I was a little disappointed when they shot the girl when I was concentrating on her t-shirt nips. I kept hoping they would pan down so I could get a last look but they concentrated on her brains sliding down the wall- obvious gayers.

Now isn't that highbrow.

Movie totty to look forward to.

Watched Man on a Ledge and The Grey over the weekend. Man.. is better than I hoped. Good dumb fun. Decent, get-what-you-expect fun film

The Grey is tense as fudge and worth seeing. I take back what I said before the edit - it's very good. Dark, brooding, intense. Not the action flick the trailer (though the action is good and there's plenty of jumps and thrills) may suggest but a lot more depth than that. The more I think about it the more I like it.

Saw the Muppets on Friday,I really enjoyed it especially the Muppet/man song, just a movie to sit and enjoy.
Contagion is a good flick, kind of scary thinking something like that could happen.

The Help is a good movie, not as good as the descendants but still worth a watch, some great parts in it esp. the pie scene,it's a bit light about the actual subject it's dealing with but I enjoyed it without feeling guilty about what I was watching.

A Dangerous Method was good, Keira Knightly was surprisingly outstanding and it is an area I am interested in. I'm pretty sure it was supposed to be a black comedy in some areas, but me and my friend were the only people laughing.

Young Adult is brilliant. Very different to Juno, much less in the way of tweeness, and despite the female writer and star, it was pretty ballsy.

I can't wait to see the Muppets.

I also enjoyed Moneyball.

Have watched quite a few of my friend's movies lately (the sprog's off on school camp), and would recommend all of them: Bridesmaids, Eastern Promises, An Education, Fish Tank, The Inbetweeners, The Guard, and last but by no means least, We Need to Talk About Kevin.

Just watched a great French-Canadian flick from 2011 called "Starbuck". Man who made over 20 grand donating sperm in his youth learns via a class-action suit that well over 100 of the 533 kids born from his man-goo want to know who he is ... yet he's a bit of a man-child who's got his own problems. Funny and touching. Great writing, fine acting. Wonderful film.

Watched X-Men: First Class last night. Thought it was very good. Have to say that sometimes they can overdo it (watched the Grreen Lantern the otehr day as well, and it wasn't anywhere near as good)...but the approaching of comic book adaptations from a "what if they were real, and I mean really real?" point of view (started with the rebooting of Batman) gives each an every film far more of a chance of being good than if they just went for fun and spandex.
