Danny went left, Max blocked, Danny went right, Max moved to block him again. Double movement... Shirley.

I'm watching channel 4. They think Ric is at fault.

Realise no one else commentating (drivers etc) are saying this, it's you and Nardol ... You also know the car behind can move as it likes and the car in front can block once ?

Verstappen passed ricardo twice. Personal insults the defence of someone who has lost the argument. Thanks

Here we go. It's on for Merc.

Want Bottas to win out of the two.

This has been a very entertaining grand prix.

Riccardo was to blame for the crash though.

Hamilton's turn to get some luck this race.

Sad for Bottas though, not for Vettal though, his restarts are rubbish

Baku is an awesome circuit. Combination of tight corners and the long straight alow for aro cars like RB to compete with mega engine with wheel attached cars.

Also the tight corners, wind, fatigue give a lot of driver error which is great. We all love crashes :D

He came on to the straight on the right hand side - moved left to defend got smashed in perfect alignment by daniel behind him.

Have it recorded on the sky box here.

Haven't seen the incident with verstappen and Ricciardo but going from the comments on here about the two movements. Usually you can move once and then you are allowed to move back to the racing line.

So pleased for Sauber. Nice little result for MCClaren and Williams also.

The engine blaming last year seems like a bit of a shit excuse now though. Uptick in performance has been marginal.

Tell me about the two times Verstappen passed Riccardo in track. I haven't heard di resta say that. And it had nothing to do with race line. Moved twice and braked . Nonsense

Max blocked (OK), moved twice (not OK), then brake tested (NOT OK). Daniel had no where to go, and had no time to react.

Max will have some explaining to do, and Daniel joins the growing list of drivers wanting to give him a smack in the chops.

They reckon the braking was more loss of down force.... Double move .....

They handed position to Max today and he still couldn't legit stay in front. He isn't the messiah. Paul Di resta hasn't mentioned "racing line"

If I was Riccardo I'd hit the bid somewhere else now.

Seb blew that big time. Bottas had that, they should have cleaned the rack up a bit better than they did. There was crap everywhere and he drove right over the top of it.

Yep.
And Ricciardo went to the right; Max pulled right so Ricciardo switched to the left and Verstappen moved back left. If Verstappen had just stayed right there was little chance of Ricciardo taking the corner but Max didn't want to let Ricciardo over take again.

From the BBC - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/43941986
Next time around, Ricciardo sought to make amends. He dummied to the outside, Verstappen defended and then defended again to the inside, and Ricciardo locked his brakes and smashed into the back of his team-mate, the pair spinning into the run-off area.
