It sports a green mohican, fleshy finger-like growths under its chin and can breathe through its genitals.

The Mary river turtle is one of the most striking creatures on the planet, and it is also one of the most endangered.

The 40cm long turtle, which is only found on the Mary river in Queensland, features in a new list of the most vulnerable reptile species compiled by the Zoological Society of London (ZSL).

Despite the turtle’s punk appearance – derived from vertical strands of algae that also grow on its body – its docile nature made it historically popular as a pet.

Gill-like organs within its cloaca – an orifice used by reptiles for excretion and mating – enable it to stay underwater for up to three days, but it was unable to hide from the pet collectors who raided its nests during the 1960s and 1970s.

I think it's say that Trump is a massive fan of Wayne Cochran and his legendary song, "Last Kiss".

It's not him, but the bloke in the tie does look a bit like Lee Mack (except I know Lee Mack didn't look like that).

Also, this photo has just made me realise that Oliver & David Baddiel look quite similar (other than the obvious differences).

Ricky Gervais & Bill Macrae (Seona Dancing)
Quote:
Seona Dancing were a 1980s British new wave group, best known for providing comedian Ricky Gervais with his first experiences as a public performer. Although the band was not successful, their single "More to Lose" went on to become a teen anthem in the Philippines

Assume that the bloke in sunglasses is Richard Ayoade, the one on the left is David Badiel and the guy in the red shirt is David Mitchell.

No idea who the other one is though - but probably someone who was in the Cambridge Footlights.

Looks like the soldier on the right is carrying a (captured) Russian PPSh-41? Would tend to assume that makes it more likely to be genuine?

On your bold it's John Oliver, David Baddiel is significantly older than than those three (10 years or so). The last guy is called Des O'Connor. He does a ukulele based sketch show thing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvZ9yAHB9ZQ http://www.desmondoconnor.com/

A true masterpiece of Russian design. Build with a vertical ejection port, & iron sights

On the off chance of the person you're shooting at missing the muzzle flash, they can just look for the fountain of brass cartridges going up in the air.

Possibly, but reenactors are so specific these days that at least one uber-nerd is likely to be that genuine!

This looks like the next photo in sequence ... certainly not Tom Hanks! :)

I've no real idea what cigarettes would have looked like back then, but those look like full length filter cigarettes, a clue?
