Friend shared this with the caption: "Poor little guy won't be able to run for a political office in future."

The complex they built for that exhibition was amazing, such a shame it's gone now.

I went up to Bangkok for a work gig once and the guy who was my minder in-country was A. Funk. I suggested that he should do a PhD, why he said, so you could get a shiny jacket with Dr. Funk on it and go to nightclubs. He wasn't really happy, German and all that. Anyway, he took us to dinner with his offsider at the client, another German called H. Wank. So that was us for dinner - Mr. Funk, Mr. Wank, and me.

Knowing the Germans, I can imagine his reaction and your uncomfortable feeling  .

King Cobra Vs Reticulated Python.

No survivors.

Good.

:( Why?

Not only are King Cobras not that much of a threat to humans (in terms of snake deaths in Asia they are negligible and where fatalities occur it is usually due to deliberate harassment by humans), but they predominantly prey on other much more dangerous snakes (like smaller cobras and vipers). King Cobras are the good guys of the snake world.

Resolution on that isn't great for a desktop image. Can see the pixels. Drag and drop into Google images to see if you can find a better one.

In the first pic, that looks like Andre the Giant on the right, but who is the tall guy on the left?

I was an extra on a film set featuring Andre. The sheer volume of booze that guy could consume was extraordinary

He was frequently in considerable pain so would self medicate with huge amount of beer/wine.
