Hopefully there's a non-cropped version of that out there! Why would someone not include the entirety of both trees on the ends, even if limited by 4x3?

The clue is in the title "Reflections"

I think many football supporters will remember this fella ...

... sadly, he passed away in 2015, so his sons are in Russia continuing his following Brazil for 7 WCs in a row:

It's my and the gf's cat, but we're living apart because of work and it was easier for me to take the little bastard.

I don't drink wine or eat meals for one, though.

These builders in England weren't allowed to wear shorts to work for Safety reasons.

They wore skirts under some gender equality regulations

Scientists create the perfect human body:

In the above video from the BBC, Roberts breaks down her numerous “improvements,” which include:

the “reliable heart of a dog”
the “shock-absorbing legs” of an emu
a chimp’s “sturdy lower back”
the “graceful lungs” of a swan
a “choke-proof windpipe”

Oh, and if you’re wondering why there’s a baby’s head in the gut of the damn thing, rest assured that this baby is nestled in a marsupial pouch that allows for a “pain-free childbirth.”

We've probably all seen the Karsh photo where he looks stern, but I've never seen this one before. I'm guessing this his him at his most giddy?

The Mildred , 1912 . Photographed off the coast of Cornwall by by The Gibsons of Scilly

The Mildred was traveling from Newport to London when it got stuck in dense fog and hit rocks at Gurnards Head at midnight on the 6th April 1912. Captain Larcombe and his crew of two Irishmen, one Welshman and a Mexican rowed into St. Ives as their ship was destroyed by the waves.

“The British barquentine Mildred, Newport for London with basic slag, struck under Gurnards Head at midnight on the 6th April 1912, whilst in dense fog. She swung broadside and was pounding heavily when Captain Larcombe, the mate, two Irishmen, one Welshman and a Mexican from Vera Cruz rowed into St. Ives at 6am. They later returned in a pilot gig but the Mildred was already going to pieces. The Mildred, Cornish built and owned, was launched in 1889.”

A sail ship in 1912? Thought they were obsolete by then.

They were still operating comercially until the second world war albeit in small numbers.

Read "The last grain race" by Eric Newby.

There was a minor revival after the second world war due to shortages of engines and fuel. A few years ago I sailed round the Pacific on a wooden sailing ship built in Denmark in 1949 for Baltic trade.
