Yep.

Harrison gave the Pythons a bunch of cash to make Life of Brian and did a cameo in it.

He was the guy who would rent them the Mount for a sermon.

They were, by Eric's account, best mates. (I've just finished reading Idle's autobiography, which is nothing short of the best book of name dropping ever written. Holiday's with Bowie and Jagger, road trips with Robin Williams, parties with George and prince Charles...).

George put up the cash for Life of Brian when the studio's got nervous, because 'he wanted to see the movie'

^^^ ... That's awesome! Reminds me not just of Seinfeld's "Soup Nazi", but also of a 'chip wagon' just like that in my old neighbourhood who's old owner was perpetually grumpy. He mostly only 'spoke' in grunts, if at all. Great poutine, though!

Looking at what is concealed in the second range of hills, that second shot is taken a fair bit down the road, maybe even at the end of town. Though there may well be no town to be at the end of now.

Truth be told, there's one who could pass for the woman in the grey bra ... and she's a model! (no rule one)

Is the correct answer. When I have an unaccommodating one, I stick an upturned plastic bowl under my feet.

I used to live not far from Eureka and another old west town called Silverton. We'd go on day trips up there. Made me feel like shooting some injuns.

You can see for yourself. Second shot is from a 360° pano on Google Maps. Seems near an old paddock (?) beside the top blue dot in this pic:

I reckon the buidlings might be 60-70 metres back, a bit to the left of the centre white map marker. Not much there now:

Except maybe the paddock fence (?) of the old photo, mid-distance and centre?

How to take a dump like a Samurai

Image

Don't keep both feet tangled in your pants, just in case Oscar Pistorius knocks on the door, and the foot on one knee opens things up so you drop it like it's hot, loose and clean.
