In the film version (Axe Me No Questions And I'll Tell You No Lies) the girl (played by Amada Knox) did it.

In the final shot she's seen lounging on a yacht with Anthony Hopkins, eating 'boerewors' with some Chianti and fava beans.

This is turning into a joke.

http://ewn.co.za/2015/05/27/First-On-EW ... ze-murders

Quote:
CAPE TOWN - Western Cape police are investigating a burglary case at its Stellenbosch Serious and Violent Crimes (SVC) unit.

Eyewitness News received a tip-off about the security breach at the unit which is also responsible for investigating the De Zalze triple murder case.

Police have not made any arrests after three members of the Van Breda family were murdered at their luxury golf estate home in January.

Wednesday marks exactly four months since Martin, Theresa and Rudi Van Breda were found murdered in their home.

Western Cape police spokesperson Andre Traut has confirmed computer equipment was stolen from the Stellenbosch SVC unit but it remains unclear if any of the De Zalze murder dockets and files went missing.

Eyewitness News understands a senior investigating officer’s laptop was stolen, which may contain crucial evidence in the De Zalze case.

While police said no arrests were made regarding the security breach, Eyewitness News understands four men may have been responsible for it.

The fact that the sussie is alive is a miracle. My friend saved her life and wish I can tell the story.

It's great news that she pulled through, kuddos to your mate. This might sound harsh, but I'm rather glad she suffers from memory loss and cannot remember anything about that night. Imagine having to live your whole life with the images of your own brother killing your family and attempting to kill you too. Not sure how accurate, but I also read reports about her being raped (thus also by her brother) which would have made those memories even worse.

PS. In case you didn't get it, I was extremely sarcastic about Henri being the main suspect. Anybody with more than 2 brain cells (no disrespect intended against Bulls supporters) could have figured it out back then already.

3 chargess of murder, one attempted murder, possible rape, tampering with evidence and the crime scene, false statements, obscuring the end of justice. This boy should, rightfully so, see out his life in jail. Especially considering the extremely violent nature of the attacks. 3 life sentences plus 50 plus 20 plus 10. The 3 life sentences might run concurrently, but I doubt he'll be eligible for parole within 25 years, if any.

Being pro death sentence, I know which sentence I would've given him given the opportunity and that option being available.

My friend just happen to be at the Medi Clinic when they brought her in. He usually don't op there but for some obscure reason he was there on that day and they got him just as he was about to leave.

Agree Trogs. It angers me to know that some of my tax money will go to support this fcuker for the rest of his life.

Money played a massive role here. This tikkop must be shot on sight. I cant even imagen the pain and drama his family had to go through. I just cant think where did he started, probably with his dad and broer or how he did this. Its just unthinkable how this tragedy happened. Understand they cant sell the property. No buyers, none.

Oom, please first understand pappegaai twak before you bundle it with class A drugs.

Alcohol is much more destructive, so are cigarettes, and prescription medicine!

You sound just like my laaitie. He come with the same reasoning and I don't differ about the alcohol thing. Problem is that there is a good percentage of kids not staying with pappegaai twak and that's the problem. You know Stellenbosch well enough.

The gateway drug thing is not 100% accurate

Far more kids will be tempted to try more hard core drugs once they are completely drunk, especially the women.

Why women? Laaities jaag altyd kak aan (sorry but I had to change to Afrikaans). Stellenbosch reminds me to a fountain. There are fountains of wisedom, sport, culture, art, religion, ext. Everthing is there and its for the person to decide which fountain he want to drink from. I am just greatfull my kids drank from the right one, at the moment.

Serious question.

I have a few drinks, mostly on the weekend. Pappagaaitwak, on very rare occasions.

Thank you.

I work with drug addicts (amongst others) on a voluntary basis. Many of them ventured into spiking mainline etc.

Almost all of them (that I work with) started out on dagga, saw it as a "recreational" drug. Snorting and pills became diversionary habits, then the heavy snorting and spiking followed. All (of the clean ones, that stays off drugs, now) avoid dagga like the Satan itself.

I believe some people can use different stuff (even morphine and heroin, definitely dagga) "creationally". After all, more than 70% of USA Vietnam vet addicts rid themselves of heavy heroin and LSD habits "cold turkey", with no help from others.
Yet is is a very very dangerous route to follow, fraught with tragedy (like what we are seeing on this fred)

Tread carefully, lad, I actually like you and would not want you to become a statistic.

As for young Van Breda.

If he IS the killer, and a drug addict as he is portrayed to be, this is the ultimate tragedy that can befall a family.

Legally he will probably get a shortened life sentence plus rehabilitation plus whatever stuff the courts can think out to get some money out of the family's pockets. His family, on their side, will probably go for life long commitment to an asylum or something like that - with his part of the inheritance committed in trusts and instruments in order that he cannot strip it if ever he comes out.

I think we are seeing a kind of copy cat from the Griekwastad killings, here, where the killer will become a rich man after he served his prison sentence ... all by way of controlling the heritage of his children to be.

Trust is R200 Million.

I for one hope that if he gets out, he has to spend a lot of that money on the reconstruction of his asshole.

Boet he don't care about his asshole, he dance kaalgat on Spar Welgevonden stoep.

Good for you.

I see people of all ages, even relatively old (50s or more) fall prey to drugs of all kinds.
Drug/alcohol/medicine (substance) abuse is a killer, the biggest single social problem we have in the country.

Here in the old Transvaal the kids are all about "recreational" drugs. Start with Durban Poison and tik (meths) (EVEN AT PRIMARY SCHOOL !!!) and eventually upgrade to coke and heroin.
The poor ones downgrade to nyaope and the newer street drugs ("hakka" or something like that)

Death and destruction of the social fibre - the common denominator.
