Depends on how believable the judge finds his neurologist. And the line of events leading up to the apprehension of the suspect.

I for one, cannot see any chance of any outside agency being involved with the killings, and find Van Breda's excuses quite unbelievable. But I am not the judge.

If he is found guilty, expect this to go to the SCA, soonest.

Being broadcast live on News24/Youtube.

From the judge's summary so far, it seems as if he may need to brush up on his blow-job skills in order for him to take his place in the 28's silver line.

There was an episode featuring this case on the true crime podcast sword and scale recently.

Has quite a bit of the police interviews, the emergency call, court proceedings etc on it.

Worth a listen if you have an interest in the case.

No cred in the joint with him axe-murdering a whole family to death? I'd stay well clear of him.

Compared to the guys in especially the 28s, he's an angel.

He'd do well to not get pulled into that. Ending up as a frans is not exactly a great way to spend the rest of your life either.

My father-in-law was a prison warden. He had the infamous 'Golden Miles' Bhudu as one of the inmates he had to contend with (Surprisingly my FIL had quite a lot of good things to say about him).

But the stories of the numbers gang were shocking. Not exactly company anybody would want to be associated with. Not even a family killer. And kiddie fiddlers, and those who hurt their own family members, are especially frowned upon by the 28s.

Guilty.

Murder x3.
Attempted murder x1.
Defeating the ends of justice.

40 years, out in 20 I reckon. If he's lucky (apparently has epilepsy, so might count in his favour).
3 x life + 40y + 5y, no parole if the judge has balls.

It's his style, he never post about the topic, always sniping from the side, insulting. WT got tired of it. How long before the rest of us feel the same?

He's driving saffer posters away.

He has nothing that he worked for. He's whole existence is because he was born into a rich family and inherited wealth. He is the very thing he hates, a spoiled white boy born with a golden spoon up each end thanks to his forefathers who build a successful company. Because of this he cannot get his mind around the fact that there are white people who have to work hard for a living. In his mind we were all born into a life of plenty. It’s he’s own guilt that drives him to throw around accusations of racism on an anonymous internet forum.

1 year for defeating the ends of justice.

Fair enough sentence. Would have preferred the gallows though.

He certainly is a poster boy for bringing back the death penalty.

I think the USA is a perfect case study to demonstrate that the Death Penalty is no deterrent

I don't know why you would go that far to find an example. Botswana is right next door and they have the death penalty. If only someone could give us a crime report from Botswana so we could compare it with ours. Not that I support the return of the death penalty, not with our corrupt Government.
