We get thousands of spam accounts every day and it is not easy to spot the legit ones. Therefore, if you wish to register a new account, please send an email to:

mods.prforum@gmail.com

With the subject title: approve me you plums. EDIT: please provide your user name and complete the registration process as normal.

If you are a banned poster and try to register again, we'll approve at first but do not be surprised when you are identified as such and are zapped. If that is what you enjoy in life, so be it.

If you are a regular poster and are trying to register multis (and I'm not looking at anyone in particular) then do not be surprised when you multi is zapped and you are put in the naughty corner for a few weeks.

At least some common sense, for lack of a better filtering tool.

"would be" would look better hyphenated.

Noobs, please be sure to spell correctly when posting to the 'bored'. Also know that the standard greeting is to tell you to f-off and ask whose 'multi' you are.

Power to the Mods! And not the techie plums!

Due to being at least one of the people suggesting this idea, and especially the subject title, I believe that should entitle me to at least one multi?

By golly, what a decent chap you turned to be!

To the great surprise of all.

We're filtering out applicants from countries where the GDP per capita < $20k per annum.

The anti-Saffa bias of match officials has now infected the PR mods.

FFS, you need to get your techie to implement the changes I posted here about last year. They take 5 minutes to do and mostly solves the spam bot registration issue. On my forum we haven't had a spammer in weeks and you just have to fill in a form to create an account... no captcha, no e-mail activation, no nothing.

Alternatively, replace the captcha with the "Q&A"(question and answer) feature.
Asking something like "what year was the 2nd RWC" would keep out the spam bots.

Implementing this is a three minute job and is done via the Admin CP

Blue bit - and there in a nut shell is our problem. Our techies are not here to implement anything. We may as well have his Orangeness to do it and look how far that got us!

Well OK then, but activating Q&A doesn't require a techie. The admin ca do it.

Which none of the current mods have access to. Sorry but we have done the best alternative, there are a few true newbies and bunch of returnees who will soon reveal themselves and will get banned accordingly. Some already have I guess
