With the subject title: approve me you plums. EDIT: please provide your user name and complete the registration process as normal.

If you are a banned poster and try to register again, we'll approve at first but do not be surprised when you are identified as such and are zapped. If that is what you enjoy in life, so be it.

If you are a regular poster and are trying to register multis (and I'm not looking at anyone in particular) then do not be surprised when you multi is zapped and you are put in the naughty corner for a few weeks.

Due to being at least one of the people suggesting this idea, and especially the subject title, I believe that should entitle me to at least one multi?

Hi clydecloggie - most noobs seem to be announcing themselves on the "New blood for PR" thread - there are quite a few of us.

FFS, you need to get your techie to implement the changes I posted here about last year. They take 5 minutes to do and mostly solves the spam bot registration issue. On my forum we haven't had a spammer in weeks and you just have to fill in a form to create an account... no captcha, no e-mail activation, no nothing.

Alternatively, replace the captcha with the "Q&A"(question and answer) feature.
Asking something like "what year was the 2nd RWC" would keep out the spam bots.

Implementing this is a three minute job and is done via the Admin CP

Which none of the current mods have access to. Sorry but we have done the best alternative, there are a few true newbies and bunch of returnees who will soon reveal themselves and will get banned accordingly. Some already have I guess
