Esquires? I've been there a few times, it's not that small. Holy Moly's downstairs, now that is tiny.

Hoping to get tickets for PUBLIC SERVICE BROADCASTING at the Albert Hall in November when they go on sale next week.
Very nice, havenĀ“t seen Ash Live but have seen PSB a few times and they are brilliant live
I've seen Ash loads of times, they never disappoint. I'm seeing them three times this year

Saw them at Teddy Rocks in May, they're playing Kentish Forum in October, and Esquires in August.

PSB I've seen supporting the Manics, and at the Electric Ballroom. They're so good :o

I saw The Gaslight Anthem playing a reunion show in DC last weekend. Absolutely phenomenal show.

Matt Mays opened for them and was pretty great also.

If you can lay your hands on any I would definitely go for it. Almost certainly the best show I've ever been to.

I saw Brian a few months back and he was good but the whole band together has the edge.

I've been keeping my eye out, seatwave and viagogo predictably are complete rip offs.

Yeah I saw Brian in 2016, he was very good to be fair but I've never seen Gaslight live so will do my best.

Spent an enjoyable evening in Amsterdam on Monday to see Body Count. Kicking off with Raining Blood and Postmortem got the crowd going nicely. Sweet gig. Ice T's 25/75 self-deprecation / tough guy from the hood shtick made it even better.

Hugely looking forward to this tomorrow.

Going to make a full afternoon of it, starting with some Seasick Steve, probably give Ashcroft a swerve, and then squeeze in some Squeeze before Roger Waters comes on at 19:50 for a 2.5 hour set

Yip the weather has been fantastic. 5 days here all above 25 celcius. In the lake district now, expecting to get some serius gin vibe soon. Funny thing is the sun is not as harsh as it is in Africa - no sunburn at all. Good times!

Went to the Foo Fighters concert last night at the Quebec summer festival. They couldn't sing more than 4 songs 3 years ago when a storm interrupted the show. They clearly made up for it last night and played 2 hours and 30 mins. Unbelievable energy and concert.

Went to see Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul the other Saturday in Liverpool, absolutely brilliant!
See them if you get the chance, 15 piece band on for over 2 and a half hours.

Off to see The Killers this Friday at Bolton Macron Stadium, not seen them before. Hoping for a good one.

Forgot to mention, the lineup earlier included Great Van Fleet. This felt like going back in time with Led Zep or Robert Plant (this voice...)!! Link here to a video found on the net: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EF0arGNH_P0

Even earlier was Frank Turner & the sleeping souls, good band that too!

havent been to a gig in a while but went to see "Low" d'other night in Vicar Street in Dublin, good show in terms of performance but they're even more miserable than i thought they'd be in terms of crowd interaction. Going to "Clap Your Hands Say Yeah" at the Button Factory - never seen them live ; christ they've fallen from a height ; they were up there with The National 10 years ago, now they're playing pubs and tiny venues.

Saw Knuckle Puck the other week. Great show, very high energy and lots of crowd participation. Will be seeing The Bronx at the start of December and Mayday Parade in Feb. Both have been class in the past, so expecting the same again.

 yeah ; Clap your hands say yeah were good once they played their 1st and most recent album, it was funny in that i was there with a mate of mine who doesnt know about them and told him this......he could tell when they were and were not playing from 1st and most recent album....that and simply looking at the keyboard player who is new......she literally brightened up and smiled at the audience anytime they played 1st/most recent album....hey guys, trust me your going to like this one !

Was at Corrosion of Conformity on Monday in Tivoli. Always a decent show. First time in Tivoli but note they're getting a lot more shows that would been on in say The Academy previously.

They were playing Dolan's last night which I would have loved to have gone to. Dolan's seem to be getting some relatively big metal/rock acts lately. Black Stone Cherry played there a few months ago.

Slayer, Lamb of God, Anthrax and Obituary next Thursday.
