That looked like a brilliant tackle by the Japanese Fullback, don't think that should have been awarded

FARRRKKKK me

Georgia destroy the Japanese scrum and are attacking only 10m out, one loose pass and Japan score at the other end

Like that!!!

Georgia use brute force in a series of rucks before the 8 reaches over the tryline ruck and scores.

Georgia lead 19 - 13
after 51 mins

Slick try for Japan down the left wing but it looked as if he deliberately tapped it forward and caught it before scoring.

Very slick try out wide on the left by Japan

The game is now being played at Japan's pace and Georgia are struggling

Georgia's 10 looks like a 12 playing out of position. No subtlety to him at all.

This is a good game tbf. Pretty good quality rugby all round. Georgia really need to work on sidestepping though.

Something was up with the turf. Players from both teams slipped a ton when trying to sidestep.

True

Unusual for a minnow team all the same. Fair play to them.

Enjoyed that. Georgia really need to work on the backline play. Running through your oppositiin might work in the REC but not against other opposition.

Thinking about staying up to watch Germany v Uruguay in Frankfurt now.

Well, I'll be up anyway for Scotland v Aus. If I was really committed I'd be watching Czech Republic v Lithuania that's being streamed over on rugbyeurope.tv.

Okay, I am watching it. CR are up 12 nil.

Didn't Japan blood a whole heap of relatively inexperienced players in that game? Against an arguably top 5 side it was also going to be ugly.

Yes, which why, when playing away to an established Georgia side in Euro Winter conditions, I'm surprised at the result.
