He's great. You just need to fill out positions 10-15 and you'll be sweet.

He looks the part alright, will be interesting to see where Georgia go over the next few seasons. From 1 to 9 they seem to have a pretty decent team.

Koleilishvili would be a serious player if he wasn't such a disciplinary liability

Our inside centres are also quality.

So forwards, 9 and 12 are good, 11 is ok. We're in trouble on every other position.

If they bring on our second SH at the end you'll see the difference, Props can pass better than that guy.

edit: aaand he's on.

Actually your 12 does look ok. Only person on your team whose first instinct is to step rather than belt someone.

A good win, against a former quarter finalist too. With the level of set piece dominance you had though, should have been a ton more.

That was a big crowd. Georgia forwards bulldozed the Samoans.

TV time is not the same as ref watch, they just work on assumptions.

I think Georgia and Samoa are Evenly matched and the ranking atm shows it perfectly. we are 12th because we really are 12th.

I doubt it. We'll batter them, but our attacking game is too one dimensional. Our fly-half is injured and our #14 is slower than a camel, albeit very strong. It's not impossible but chances are slim.

I expect us to do well in set pieces, but struggle whenever scots spread the ball wide. Whoever dictates the game will win. If we get 80% possession we can do it.

Their only plan seems to be to run into contact. The Samoans did the same. Didn't help that the Samoan halfback stopped and rolled a cigarette before distributing the ball.

Why do so many halfbacks do that?. Allowing the defence to get set absolutely kills any chance of the backs mounting an attack. Dumb rugby 101.

waiting for the 10 to be ready, or back line to be set, or forwards to get out of the way

Fotualii used to do that a lot with the Crusaders. Times have moved on now and it is becoming a liability.

Having said that, the Samoan forwards are a disaster. Most of them play in European clubs yet whenever they come together in the Samoan team, they get destroyed at the set pieces.

How's your placekicker? If Georgia can turn their probable scrum and forward dominance into penalties it could come down to a kicking battle.

Atm we have 2 good kickers.#15 Kvirikashvili and #10 Malaguradze They've had bad games but past two matches were pretty good for both so they haven't given us any reason to worry.

Nice. Do you look forward to this tournament any more though? You know it's going to be another cakewalk. Romania might keep the score to 10 points but that's as close as it will be.

Actually, We have so many debutantes we might lose to Belgium and Germany. They called up last years U20's in droves. Last time we did this in 2012 we lost our opening game to Spain. So anything can happen

True but your young players are better in 2017 than they were in 2012.

Not actually sure. Probably 8, but our recruitment is all under wraps for next season, so hard to figure out where the gaps in the squad are likely to be.

Is he any good anywhere?

He is very strong and athletic, has a lot of potential. Decision making at N8 lets say leaves much to be desired. he's done well as a flanker and is built like a lock, in case they want to convert him long term(please do we need locks)

Basically he's a work in progress, a lot of potential but needs good coaching. He's been praised in france. likes to carry a little bit too much for my liking.

He's a great defender, tackling and physicality will not be a problem.

If they manage to educate him tactically/improve his decision making he should be an asset.

Nice one. May not end up happening, but there's probably room in the squad for someone that physical and can see why he may be a target. Cheers

Lomidze did sign in the end. Described as a 6/8, so no experiment at lock on the horizon.

Let's hope it's to the benefit of both parties, he's got potential.

Not a fan of his style on #8, all he does is go into contact and hog the ball(He does it well mind you). But don't want to be too critical before he plays a game.

You should be able to rest some players against Canada/Uruguay though. Especially since they will likely have been battered by Fiji three days prior.

I think Canada/Uruguay game will be extremely hard so not likely. Everyone's harder to beat on the world cup.

Did Spain cough up a bonus point with that?
