Great win by the Thunder!

Lue thought about resting his big 3, but ends up playing them. LeBron plays 42 minutes.

Steve has 36 offensive boards these past 4 games. Was a beast today.

At Madison Square Garden tonight, fans chanted "CHAR-LES OAK-LEY, CHAR-LES OAK-LEY." The thing is, the Rangers were playing hockey.

I've heard that in Oakley's native Cleveland, the Cavaliers intend to invite him to the Cavaliers home game against the Knicks.

God it's hard to watch the GSW v OKC game this year, when you see 1 all star playing battling against 4 all star players. The GSW v OKC games were great to watch last year.

That Oakley footage made for unpleasant viewing. The fact that James Dolan's relationship with a former legendary player is in such a state of disrepair is entirely emblematic of the way he runs his club.

If it was up to me he would be forced to sell the Knicks.

Holy crap, just saw on ESPN that Fab Melo is dead. 26 years old, that is depressing as hell. :(

I thought the way that Dolan went of the way to publicly undermine and discredit Oakley's reputation since the incident was such a CEO thing to do.

Haven't read much Thunder news. Are they going to make any trades??

They could use a Nick Young type in that second unit. None of them could hit a barn door today

The Thunder were 0 from 9 from 3 point range. A lot of those were open uncontested shots too.

They kicked it out to Roberson on more than one occasion
If he's allowed to put up 3s then I want to see Adams have a crack

fudge, they held on too! Nice win nuggets

What were the odds on that?! They were missing Gallinari, Chandler, Faried, Mudiay (all double figure scorers!)

Some heart-warming quotes from Anthony Davis...
Quote:
“Some rumor from somewhere said me and Russell [Westbrook] was going to L.A.,” Davis said. “I haven’t talked to Russell or whoever the source is about that, so I’m not sure where that came from, but I’m here. I just signed an extension here. If I didn’t want to be here, I would have never signed the extension.

"I love it here. I love playing for the organization. I don’t intend on going anywhere. I want to be here. I never was one of those guys who -- I was always one of those guys who wanted to stay with their franchise and [win] championships, just like Tim Duncan did. I looked up to Tim. I still look up to Tim. But the way he did it through his entire career was definitely setting a great example for me. I want to be the same way.”

[although....Durant expressed similar sentiments a few years ago... :uhoh: ]

Kyrie Irving must be trolling...surely.

As for the Dunk contest  After the brilliance of last years, this years was a huge antclimax. One of the worst I've seen.

Yeah - looking like a great troll by Kyrie...

And the dunk contest was indeed garbage, which is the norm. Last year spoiled us. They need to change the format and put up some decent $$$ or something - otherwise it will continue to suck ass.

Kings in full tank mode.

More Woj: The Kings were at significant risk to lose a 2017 Top-10 protected pick to Chicago, and trade increases chances to hold onto it.

AD doesn't want to play the 5 b/c his body will break...

Looks like you got Casspi as well! He's good!

Farking Kings gonna Kangz!

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/sources-kings-agree-to-trade-demarcus-cousins-to-pelicans-050000759.html

Quote:
The Sacramento Kings, after promising DeMarcus Cousins privately and publicly that he wouldn’t be moved prior to Thursday’s NBA trade deadline, agreed to trade the center to the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday night, league sources told The Vertical.

The Pelicans are sending guards Buddy Hield, Tyreke Evans and Langston Galloway, and 2017 first- and second-round picks to the Kings as part of the deal, league sources said, with forward Omri Casspi going to the Kings.

The Kings were at significant risk of losing a 2017 top-10 protected pick to Chicago, and the trade now increases the chances they can hold on to it.

Jesus f**king Christ. Buddy Hield is a 23 year old rookie who is among the worst shooting guards in the league this year. So now we tank and probably have to swap picks with the Sixers this year. And on top of that, we don't have our first rounder in 2019 so we are that much further behind in the rebuild. This team is gonna be painful to watch.

Oh I'm all for pairing AD with a centre, but what exactly is the plan for the backcourt??

fudge it, I'm just gonna sit back and ride out the turbulence (I hope Demps has a plan and isn't just signing a headliner to be seen to be doing something)
