I wonder if someone here has a severe form of cancer and would like to exchange a few words. Or to put a link to a place where people is talking about it.

Don't think it's what I'm looking for, but thanks a lot for replying.

No, there's at least one poster dealing with it on there.
Have a look.

My dad's just been diagnosed with colon cancer in the last few days. We don't know how serious it is right now, but he's a bit worrying. My mum, on the bright side has lived with a form of breast cancer for 20+ years so it isn't necessarily all doom and gloom.

Their four offspring have covered quit a bit of ground here, what sort of thing are you looking for.

Thanks a lot, happy hooker. My problem is that's very difficult to find a forum or so where to talk about what we feel when we already know that there's no hope. Even our friends say things as if we still can fight it. We can't . We lose. Till now, not very surprisingly, I didn't find a place with people in the same situation.

Must go to rest (sleep) now.

Ah, best of luck with it all.

Try the Macmillan website perhaps? Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Fwiw, taking care of yourself is incredibly important, so rest yourself.

Râguebi - absolute best of luck. Not sure where you (location wise) are but in many places you & others can also reach out directly to support groups and organisation.

HH - same situation - Mum +20 yrs double mastectomy, dad had rectal cancer and been on bag for almost 10 years. My wife had pre-cancerous on colon - so had it removed when she was younger.
