Absolutely one of my favourite characters ever. Did you watch the Good Fight? She made about 3 or 4 appearences in it.

The issue with legislation like this on the interweb is where is the contract held?

e.g. the servers are in Cape Town, the poster is in America, the other poster (say there was one) was in India, and the managing team are in UK but the Ltd Co that covers all are in the Caymans.

Oh it's far more than that. There's data portability. There's data transfers - personal data is clearly being transfered outside of the EEA. There are marketing consents. How's your privacy policy. It's going to be a nightmare and the ICO ain't going to be fûcking around. 4% of global revenue max fine. They'll expect PR to have its shit in order - to know who the data controllers and processors are - and ignorance will not be an excuse.

It's going to be carnage out there. Especially in the charity sector.
