Which of these will be doing the off-the-ball, out wide, interfering with the opposing team's defenders ?

I'm thinking Dan Biggar - he's always off side.
Marler - he'll be doing his dirty bastard thing.
Hika - he always a little borderline.

Think the Lions will have to hold a whip-around to supply some of those guys with a bit of clothing - skimpily dressed, I see. Not quite the thing, to prance around half-naked at a rugby match...
;)

TBH, pisstake aside, a very nice challenge.

Seemed to be. I wonder if he will be pulled at the last minutes and Cory Hill starts. Gatland not prepared to select him straight out as he knows he'll get caned for it.

When Lawes got clattered you could see his head snap pretty sickeningly on contact. Gotta think he's still going to be feeling that one.

The Welsh set up have a shady recent history of allowing players to continue despite obvious head injuries. They're shockers.

Head to heads are good fun and all but particularly pointless for a game like this. The Chiefs are a settled side, the dirttrackers most certainly aren't.

Those aren't regular Chiefs starters for much of that team, WTG members really. Don't expect them to be the slick greased weasels that have maimed the Canes twice this years already.

Least we forget...

1993 Warren Gatland scores and wins in the Waikato team that finish off a wounded Lions squad in their last midweek match.
Tour result 7 wins, 6 losses. Tests 1-2 loss.

2005 - no match against the mighty Waikato.

A chance to go back to back wins against the Lions.
