Montpellier need to right their ship and make up for that complacent home loss earlier. They're not on top form and are struggling to find themselves still, and tbf have had lots of roster turnover, not nearly a stable club. If they click I can actually see them doing it, but you have to go with Glasgow based on the facts.

Match preview with head to heads:

In terms of just weight the tight 5s are pretty evenly matched - more experience in the Montpellier group though which could be telling, particularly at scrum time.

Get 3 lads to jump on Nadolo and you will win handy enough.

you have to hope (well you don't HAVE to..) Montpellier will be a tad bit more cohesive this time around. There are threats all over that xv. But they do need to mesh..

Niko is turning out to be a super sub..wish they would play him at 9 too one of these days :/ or fullback (a position which he can own)

There's a danger a Frenchman might get to touch the ball during the game

Maybe during the 6N, but with Price & Horne jr there he doesn't have much chance of 9. And with Hogg and Jackson (player of the season so far) going at 15..... Half the time when he comes on you find him at the base of the breakdown anyway. The madness of Niko works best against a tiring opposition, that way the fact that no-one on his own team knows what he's going to do doesn't matter as much

Totally agree, Niko is a super sub to come on and cause chaos against teams that are out on their feet. As much as I love watching the guy play I cannot see him getting a look in at 9 while we have Price, Horne and even Pyrgos. Great utility back to have on the bench though.

Love the prospect of Horne jnr & Niko coming on to up the tempo in the final quarter.

Niko is best in a free role, scrum-half is too restrictive, just let him pop up where ever he needs to be.

Is Horne Jnr now 2nd choice scrum-half ahead of Pyrgos?

no need to get bitchy about it, Montpellier atm aren't even good ! :P Start getting the bitchslaps out when they start winning games at the Euro level and are seen as a major threat.

I don't quite know what to predict here. Cruden's been verrrryyyyyyyy mediocre so far globally, some brilliance but lots of disappointment. Picamoles' been ..despondent since his return to France. With a foot firmly out of the cup already, I reckon being a French club they'll push hard, feel for a chance, but if Glasgow get the momentum and the crowd is up they might just drop the game either early or about the 65th min mark.

I reckon this could be a good game - both need to win with BP and nothing to lose otherwise so will be throwing it about. High scoring game with both winning BP? Ill be watching.

Is this the ref that didn't have a clue in the Leicester-Wasps match at the weekend?

Can a Scottish team just go one game without having to replace someone before half time?

If Montpelier get 1 or 2 pts here they're still in it.

On Sarto, did Lawson earlier say he doesn't look that big earlier?

He's a 6'4 15stone wing, he's pretty fúcking big

Suicide rugby from the 'French'. They're rather less than the sum of their parts.

I think he'll be cited and given a week off for that.

It's the kind of thuggery the ref needs to be harder on.

Imo we need to tidy up the "not held" tackle law to make it more definitive.
