It turns out I have...

Although I originally attributed the bass to Buzzo, when it's actually Dale for that one.

Ok I admit it I've no fvcking idea of the difference between a riff and lick.

In a way, way, way too much of an oversimplification the easiest way to differentiate the two is this:

Riff = rythym guitar
Lick = lead guitar.

Of course the crossover of the techniques used for each makes that differentiation completely redundant.

I trust this clears up the confusion.

So "Bad Moon Rising" is a riff and "Layla" electric is a lick.
