Help naming a puppy

I rather stupidly went to see my sister on NYE, her dog has just had a litter of Cockador puppies (cocker Spaniel and Labrador) - I was ambushed and have agreed to have one of the puppies. The kids preferred name is Digby which we can’t have as our Made in Chelsea neighbour dog is called that
I have suggested Montgomery (Monty) for the founding father of the Parachute Regt.
However along with all the invariable abuse and sarky suggestions there is normally a belter, so I thought I would see what PR has to offer!!
Suggestions please...

Dfor ...........
Not original.
When I bought my daughter a lab, she chose Kelso. I asked why. She said since my lab when I was a boy and was called Jed, she looked at the map and chose that name. Thank goodness it was not Hawick !!

Just call it dog until it shows some character then give it a name that fits like carpetshiter or shoechewer.
Or just call it Bandicoot

''Cockador''FFS! Back in the day, 'Mutt' was the catchall term applied to any animal that wasn't a recognised breed, until someone worked out that enough gullible twats were prepared to pay stupid money for what was basically a mongrel simply by inventing a hybrid name. Labrador x Spaniel you say? Here's a suggestion - how about 'Labiel', as it's a hybrid name (and the owners a c@#t)

I just downloaded a huge list of dogs names from t'internet and crossed off all the ones that weren't going to happen. Left the kids to decide between the short list was left. Ended up with Echo & Moose.

Interesting and how do you think these ‘recognised breeds’ came about?

Bit of a silly name for a dog that'll be medium sized.

I always thought they started from breeding poodle into various other dogs to inherit the non-shedding fur of poodles to make them hypoallergenic.... could be bollocks though.
I don't have any problem with these 'mutt' breeds. But the outcome can be quite random in terms of size, coat, temperament etc. And asking pedigree breed prices for them seems steep..... unless you got yours free.
