That would have been my guess, which isn't going to help Wales at all. obelixtim said England by 25 and he could be right, but if they defend well and keep disrupting England's ball, and they can do that, then I think the English margin of victory will be much slimmer.
Possibly even negative.
Wales were very close last year and nothing much has changed. England are relatively weaker in the back row this year, and weren't overly competitive in that area in the last.
Also, - whether it be during the game or in pre-match prep. - Wales were punishingly efficient in isolating and exploiting Scottish weaknesses last week.
Two teams are evenly matched, and my guess is it will be decided on who can maintain their discipline the best.

If I were Welsh, I'd be pretty pumped up with the thought that this England are definitely vulnerable to that Wales.

Come on England!
I don't think that's completely true. I think the games England have played since then have helped the team to grow and really the England/Ireland game is going to be the game of the championship.

I don't think you can dismiss Wales, or even France. Even Scotland have the ability to pull it all together again if this weekend goes well.
It's wide open this year as ever, even though there are favourites. England's chance will be as good as Scotland if it goes tits up for them this afternoon.
That's the beauty of the 6N.

I predict a Welsh win, and a spate of Welsh fans hand-feeding their own testicles to the lions at London zoo.

I think Wales will win. They're too good not to. They'll be shitting on the tables in Ynysybwl tonight, as Bill McLaren might say.

I don't think it's being dismissive of Wales. England have a perfect home record under Jones and they are playing some very good rugby. I have no doubt there will come a point where they start to lose a few games and the shine is taken off his coaching but I don't think that's going to happen today. Any weakness England have is more than covered by the strength they have in other areas.

France are an interesting case, the game against Scotland will be really informative if Teddy Thomas can keep doing what he did against Ireland then all teams will be worried.

England $1.18
Wales $4.45

Might chuck $10 on Wales.

Definitely worth a punt.

50/50 I'd say. If it was in Wales, you'd have to say they'd be favourites. Long gone are the days when we used to send the 2nd team to Cardiff to keep it competitive.

Why?

If you watch a bit of sport, you'll notice people making predictions in the press.

Stop being a tw@t for a second and say what you think. Or are you afraid of being 'embarrased' if you get it wrong?

PS You know the testicles on the bar theme is for your benefit? :D

Not really. Sport has a way of serving up outlier results. I think this might be one.

Any news on Halfpenny's illness?

Foul day out, could be an arm wrestle. Can't separate the teams for me, a kick will decide this one.

I've knocked Parkes a bit on here but from what I've seen he's been serviceable for Wales in the midfield. But at 10? Surely you're having a laugh.

You got Ireland V Italy on first. That’ll be 60 minutes of up and unders followed by Italy not making a single tackle.

Ha. No doubt we've learned from Scotland's mistakes last week and will keep it a lot tighter, only exacerbated by the shite weather and the nerves of the rivalry.
