I thought the big man would only play 50 minutes - but he's gone the whole game! Bastard.

I picked him but misread the fixtures and thought the Tahs would play after the Chiefs. So I went with DMac as VC.

He's on 91 as we speak.

Phew - I dodged a bullet then - somewhat. Looks like you're in for a big round, tho.

I was gonna go full Tahs - Gordon at halfback + Miller in the backrow - but wussed out. :frown:

On the other hand, I did consider selling Mafi for Hooper - so that would have sucked hard...

Bastard!

Left winger v. the Sunwolves and I didn't have him in my team...

Rookie mistake.

I had also gone full Tahs, and even bought Foley. But when RDP dropped 47 yesterday I quickly rolled back the team and undid the Sopoaga/Foley transfer.

But I still retained Naiyaravoro and Beale.

Beale is only on 27pts so far though

Should have made Mataele my skipper though.

But yeah, it looks like a semi decent round.

Nah, bro.

I sold my good wingers (Alaimalo + Lam) for lemons!

Well, 1 lemon in Duffie. Hard to not pick Naholo...

That's the last time I trust a Blues' player not name Ioane, tho. Akira could get 90+ as captain for you... I didn't want to risk it...

Naiyaravoro just dropped the ball over the line after Beale put him away in the corner...

I needed that!

However, it's looking like the Tahs are going to clean up large here. Naiyaravoro will get his soon enough.

EDIT: Hegarty just threw a howling pass to Foley - if Foley caught it, which he didn't, he strolls in for a 40m try untouched. :x

EDIT again: Naiyaravoro gonna drop a 100 spot on my ass. :(( Probably 120+ ... x(

Naiyaravoro on 101

The big bastard can't tackle for shit and throws offloads all over the place - often to the opposition.

But by fark he just shreds defenders in classic Fijian fashion.

2 weeks in a row he's kicked my ass. Really farked up not picking him last week.

Barring Schoeman and Botha getting in a fight, and both being red carded, you've got me well beat.

EDIT: Nipper captained the fat fuck again.

I got to up my game - you plums aren't rolling over yet...

I made Reiko my captain this week, 170 points from him helped!

Rieko is helping me stave off the chasing pack right now... Basically my midfield has bailed me out a lot!

I would have been 80 points better off making 0 trades this round, tho. x(

Midfield is definitely my weakest area. Gotta shore it up this week.

I want to sell Crotty....but the Saders host the Sunwolves this weekend. Absolute carnage on the cards.

And I see only the Canes have the bye, so there will be many options available.

That's what this round is all about - picking which 'saders will get the full 80!

Crotty may get the game off - it wouldn't surprise me if Bateman gets a start...

EDIT: Bateman started last game! Forgot about that, with Goodhue being injured... Maybe we'll see Seta get a run at 13? Bateman at 12?

Fuck - I didn't double check my team, and I left Foley starting.

I was meant to bench him, and if he did well - buy a Cane, if not - buy Delany...

Now I have 3 trades and only 1 real need - at centre.

Thankfully Rieko will bail me out again! He might drop another 80!

Foley didn't take on the line once, and had 0 shots at goal! :x

Naiyaravoro was a total lemon as well - which helps offset Foley doing NOTHING.

Crotty playing the full 80 hurts.

The Sunwolves didn't rollover, so Razor had to keep Crotty out there... :frown:

No way I pick Bateman over him if I knew that. Damn you plucky Sunwolves!

I captained Mataele. Picked Bridge, his try assist at the depth pushed him up to 45!

Currently on 412 with Kerevi, Robert du Preez, Maddocks, Almanaki Mafi, Kitshoff, and Bulls prop Schoeman still to play

:smug: :D

Jesus. I changed my captain last minute from Mataele to DMac.

DMac limps off after 20min.

Mind you he was well on his way to dropping 80+

180+...

My guy Ta’avao took him out!

I always bank the points, tho... anything over 60 - usually...

EDIT: TTT goes over, but it's called back for a forward pass! x(

Yup! I was going to mention that! :uhoh: Ross was half a chance at playing for the ABs as well, given he plays loosehead, and is eligible...

maxbox,

He has played some damn good rugby under Cooper - both with the naki, and now with the Chiefs.

Had a feeling you would bank. So I took the risk with the switch, knowing I would possibly make ground on you and Sowhat.

And I didn't even see the injury happen. I went to the bathroom and I come back to see Marty at first receiver. Then the camera pans to Damien on the sideline. So you can imagine my shock amd disgust at that moment.

Just two of them.

I sold Rob Du Preez because I wanted to free up cash to buy Laumape. Im off course preparing for the Canes hosting the Wolves next week.

Now imagine if Plumtree decides to rest him. :uhoh:
